Mozambiguous statement on the state of Morrissey's career

A lot of people are saying that Morrissey is a CrankFraud. A lot. Myself, I don't have much of an opinion about it, I don't care either way, but a lot of people are saying it. Read into it what you will. You don't have to believe me, but it's true. I've heard it so many times. Trust me on this. Nobody knows Morrissey better than I do. Nobody. So I was surprised when I heard so many people saying that Morrissey is a Crankfraud.

He doesn't give the people what they want. I'm not the one saying it. He's coming to your town, he's taking your money, and he's not giving you what you want. I've had sources tell me that people are falling asleep at his concerts. He takes their money, they're fooled by him, and they fall asleep. The concerts are so boring that the audience can't even keep their eyes open for it. I've got the best sources on this, and they all say it.

People are waking up to Lyin' Steve. They wake up at his concerts after being fooled, and they know that he lies. Boy, does he lie. What sort of name is 'Steve' anyway? It even sounds like the name of a liar, but I don't care about that. And people have been telling me about how bad the band is. Awful. Like really, really bad. And they get the worst reviews. You've just gotta read what the reviews are saying. I would say he should get a new band, but I hear his career is over so that doesn't matter now.

It's sad. His concerts don't even sell out. And I read a story from a reputable news source that he's got HIV. Now that's not me saying it, but it came from a reputable news source. Another news source wrote about his conduct with children, but I don't wanna get into that. But why would they say it? I mean, I don't know. I don't know. You'll have to come to your own conclusions about that. It was posted on this website for everybody to see. And yet people bring children to his concerts. I wouldn't, but that's just me.

Morrissey-solo.com member Born to Harangue wrote a piece about that on this website in July 2015. Now, Born to Harangue is a respected user. He got rave reviews. And a lot of people gave him thumbs-up, the best people. So if he has stuff to say about Lyin' Steve's dark side then maybe we should listen. I don't know. I don't want to speculate. But it's starting to seem obvious that Lyin' Steve is a bad, bad guy. All the sources are writing about it. Respected, reputable sources. Born to Harangue and the two articles I already mentioned wrote about it. Plus all the numerous people who are saying that he's a CrankFraud. Is he? I have no idea. He might be. He might be. But the number of people who are saying it is rising every day. Actually, it's skyrocketing.

I really couldn't comment on if what they're saying is true or not, but I will say this. I'll just say one thing. These are respectable people who are saying it; pillars of their communities; patriots, hard-working people with families and decent careers. People who just want a fair shake from Morrissey. Why would they put their necks on the line and say that Morrissey is a CrankFraud if they didn't 100% know it to be true? And risk their reputations? It doesn't seem likely that they would lie, does it? That's not for me to say.

I'm not here to cast aspersions on Lyin' Steve's character, or on anybody else. I'm just here to give voice to the many, many people who hold grievances towards Morrissey and weren't being heard. And when I say 'many' I mean MANY. Like, a lot of people - maybe even more than he can get to show up to his boring concerts. So it's not looking good for him. If you add it all up it doesn't look good. He lost a lot of support and it's sad. He's built a huge wall between himself and his audience. I almost feel sorry for the guy. Almost, but not quite.

But it's evident that he's a basket case. Lyin' Steve. And I heard he tries to rob photographers of their livelihood. I took it upon myself to count up the number of positive and negative comments about Morrissey on this thread alone and he received about 39 positive comments and 50 negative ones. 50! That's a lot of negative comments. And on a 'fan' site too. So the numbers speak for themselves. I don't want to say any more about it because I don't like to take sides and it's not my place. But the people can see how the negative comments greatly outnumber the positive comments, and make up their own mind.

The people aren't stupid. They're tired of being lied to. And they're tired of Lyin' Steve. But I'm not going to take sides.

Well, in Helsinki he came on stage with a (smaller) chest bandage as well as one on his face. That lends a little more credence to the idea that it's a symbolic thing.

But, speaking as someone who was a caregiver to my aunt who had lung cancer....the chest bandage could indeed be covering up radiation burns. That's a common (and painful) side effect that can last months after treatment is finished.
But that would still mean his treatment was something in the past. The idea that he'd be traveling around the world while getting treatment right now is ludicrous. Sure, I suppose he could afford to have a full time oncologist on the tour with him, but I would bet money he is not doing so.

Anyway, he's about to have a nice three week break very soon.
I hope and pray he is-and continues to be-fine.

OR! He could always wear clothes that cover up any such treatment scars. But where would the Drama be if he just STFU about his alleged Big C and got on with his life as a C List loser celeb.
