This is also a way of him saying 'So what if I don't have a manager anymore, and who cares about all that other stuff that went down recently. I know my worth, and so do some very brilliant legends... here's the proof'

Shut up and go announce a new album and single like The Cure just did in the most amazing way.

Can't decide what the Patti Smith dedication says. Can anyone confirm please?

'With common love for the sacred voice??'

Are these going to auction or something? He is obviously taking stock of a lot of things this past year - faxes and all.
Maybe he got Damon to clear out the garage and he came across them.

*gasps* IT'S A CRYPTI...

Sorry. It's a cryptic message to Johnny. No coincidence that the Wizard of Moz chose pictures of three stars whose music was so fundamental to the Smiths' early songs like Hand in Glove (and others).

Well that's my stooopid theory and I'm sticking to it.

PS And the deciphered cryptic message is either:

1. "Remember the good old days, when we first met?" or

2. "Ner ner ner-ner ner, I've got better famous friends than yewwwww. You hairy twit."

I can literally imagine him telling Damon to 'clear out the garage', while M is busy covering himself in deep heat and getting up against the radiator.

I can imagine him shouting at Damon that he "wants the finest wines available to humanity".

Or failing that, a pint glass of Vodka.

In all seriousness, I know what you mean.

But this does also scream autism - the collecting element combined with the almost cultish fandom and fan clubs, the obsessing over chart positions and the mountain of endless obscure trivia etc etc.
Actually this sounds like me !!
(and I am not about to change)

I think Moz has just collected a lot of memorabilia along the way & I am so happy he is sharing it. Fits nicely with "Rebels Without Applause" too.
If I had something signed by Morrissey I would want to share it .........so why should he not share it too with his fans? I thought it was super cool and I did not read any cryptic message in it.

I've got a Life On Earth book signed by David Attenborough and a DVD of Tron signed by Jeff Bridges. Check and mate.

Watch the next live gigs have signed copies of the new Cure album on sale signed by Morrissey.

All supported him at Hop Fest. I would imagine he presented them all with the albums to sign, like a besotted teenage fan. Bless.

He walked away from a deal with a label that was literally perfect for him. But cool we get pix of his record collection. You came up with the words “The Smiths”, but without J.Marr, that trademark has no value. You live 10 minutes from Johnny and have his current email. Use it, get drunk, sort your shit, and end your career with 9 nights at Wembley and setting up your family for generations.

It would be quite good self-satire if he sold Morrissey albums signed by other singers.

The sad thing is is that this already happened a few years back. Sold Bowie records he signed himself at gigs.

edit: oh you mean his own albums signed by OTHER people. Well if he did former he sure would do the latter.
