Barnsley and Reading

So travelling 8 or so miles to Highbury consists of great away support?
And the Clock End never had the capacity of 20,000:rolleyes:

Terracing. Looks like 20,000 to me. Its well known in Chels circles what happened that day. Dixon's volley etc...

What was the ground capacity back then? Around 44,000?
The North Bank held more or the same than the Clock End, so both couldn't have held 20,000. There was standing at the front of the sides too.

Thank you chrisnat (I'm beginning to like you:D)

Swallow.....I think this day has entered Chelsea folklore in the same way a fisherman passes on the chinese whisper about ''the fish was this big'' (holds hands up out in front of self, 2 feet apart...... repeat every 30 mins but extend the hands further apart each time, exaggerating the size of the fish each time:thumb:)
