Barack Hussein Obama, the worst president in American history, needs to go

I honestly don't think Obama is familiar enough with the material of any one speech he's giving to look away without losing his place and actually becoming stumped in the middle of "his" own speech. Personally, I expect to hear years after he's left office, that he rarely took any involvement in speech writing and wasn't known to even read through them more than needed for a basic sense of the order of things.

He's a trained public speaker and one of the BEST ones I think we've ever seen. His very considerable talents start, run and end right there, with that one life skill. However masterful he is at it, get him off a teleprompter and he's a fool with almost no grasp of the basic issues in play. The ultimate one trick pony, that's Barry.

Yikes! Vice President Joe Biden said this to a Chinese audience:

"Your policy has been one which I fully understand -- I'm not second-guessing -- of one child per family."

He goes on to say China's one child policy is not economically sustainable.

But, other than that, the "pro-choice" politician "fully understands" and is "not second guessing" a government's absolutely evil policy of forcing women to abort their babies. That's just great, Joe. :thumb:

(BTW: They don't just force women to have abortions, they also force women to insert IUDs that can only be removed by permission of the government.)

Don't get me wrong. I don't really think Joe Biden can only find an economic reason to criticize China's one-child policy. But, it's not unusual to hear lefties soft-pedaling the evil policies of communist governments.

They might think that government is going way too far, but they "understand" what the intentions were.

And, some part of them seems to wish that the socialist agenda they're pushing in America could just be rammed through China-style by a government made up of "enlightened" leaders who know what has to be done.

Lefty writer Thomas Friedman revealed too much in a column in the #1 newspaper of the cultural and political elite, The New York Times, when he was disturbed at the state of the health care and climate change debates in American democracy:

One-party autocracy certainly has its drawbacks. But when it is led by a reasonably enlightened group of people, as China is today, it can also have great advantages. That one party can just impose the politically difficult but critically important policies needed to move a society forward in the 21st century.

So, they get angry with democracy, and start obsessively referring to themselves as "the reality-based community" in a country full of "bitter clingers".

And their recent demands for a "new civility" in our political discourse (in order to shut up folks who disagree with them) go right out the window.

She mad. :lbf:

Oh, she mad!

What a woman:

Waters currently faces an investigation by the House ethics committee. She phoned then-Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson in 2008, asking his office to meet with minority bank owners. He complied. But most of the bankers in attendance were from OneUnited Bank — a bank in which Waters' husband owned shares and on whose board he once served. OneUnited asked for a special bailout, and three months later, it received $12 million. The basis of the House ethics inquiry is why Waters failed to disclose to Paulson her personal financial interest in the bank bailout.

Which is just one reason why the Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) found her to be one of the most corrupt politicians in Congress.

And that's a leftist watchdog group: "CREW has been described by major media organizations, including the Washington Post and New York Times, as a liberal watchdog group and by others as Democratic-leaning, left-leaning and progressive due to its selection of mainly Republican targets for its investigations."

You'd happily be compared to a racist rather than two political pundits? To each his own...

Did you hear? That moron and hardcore racist, Reverand Al, has now officially been hired as an anchor on MSNBC.

Another great source of information for the "reality-based community".

Here's what he revealed to 60 Minutes earlier this year:

Sharpton told us that having a black president is a challenge: if he finds fault with Mr. Obama, he'd be aiding those who want to destroy him. So he has decided not to criticize the president about anything -- even about black unemployment, which is twice the national rate.
-- 60 Minutes, May 19, 2011

Oh, we need him as our new anchor, pronto!

Gotta love MSNBC.

Here's Ed Schultz caught red-handed trying to edit a clip to falsely accuse Rick Perry of racism (make sure you watch the whole thing, as it proves what a despicable piece of garbage propagandist Ed Schultz is):

Apparently these clowns still think they can get away their old dirty tricks.

There are many worse presidents than Obama. Like, you know, his predecessor. The one who made the mess Obama is supposed to clean up.

George Bush, who doesn’t have a vote in congress and who no longer occupies The White House, is to blame for it all.

He broke Obama's promise, to put all bills on the White House web site for five days before signing them. He broke Obama's promise, to have the congressional health care negotiations broadcast live on C-SPAN. He broke Obama's promise, to end earmarks. He broke Obama's promise, to keep unemployment from rising above 8 percent. He broke Obama's promise, to close the detention center at Guantanamo in the first year. He broke Obama's promise, to make peace with direct; no precondition talks with America's most hate-filled enemies during his first year in office, ushering in a new era of global cooperation. He broke Obama's promise, to end the hiring of former lobbyists into high White House jobs. He broke Obama's promise, to end no-compete contracts with the government. He broke Obama's promise, to disclose the names of all attendees at closed White House meetings. He broke Obama's promise, for a new era of bipartisan cooperation in all matters. He broke Obama’s promise, to have chosen a home church to attend Sunday services with his family by Easter of last year. Yes, it's all George Bush's fault! President Obama is nothing more than a puppet in the never-ending failed Bush administration.

If only George Bush wasn't still in charge, all of President Obama’s problems would be solved. His promises would have been kept, the economy would be back on track, Iran would have stopped its work on developing a nuclear bomb and would be negotiating a peace treaty with Israel. North Korea would have ended its tyrannical regime, and integrity would have been restored to the federal government.

If only George Bush wasn't still in charge, we'd have real change by now. All the broken promises, all the failed legislation and delay (health care reform, immigration reform) are not President Obama's fault or the fault of the Democrat-controlled Congress. It's all George Bush's fault!

Take for example Obama's decision to appoint tax-cheat Timothy Geithner to Secretary of Treasure. Or forgetting about repealing NAFTA, GATT, and CAFTA to save American jobs. Two instances in which our President lacked correct judgment. Certainly those were bad judgments based on poor advice from George Bush!

People were still angry about George Bush and the policies of the past 10 years. And they wanted change. Will the failed administration of George Bush ever end, and the time for hope and change ever arrive???

Will President Obama ever accept responsibility for something /anything?

Oh, and that his Dad's a black Muslim, which seems to be a real sticking point for those Constitution-defenders who ignore the right of freedom of religion while simultaneously threatening to use their "2nd amendment remedies" to fix this horrible, horrible situation to bring back "the America they remember" (which apparently died when the Civil Rights Act was embraced by the rest of the American people).

You know, it's just not white people who don't like Obama. There's quite a few blacks out there who are apparently racist as well. You just don't hear about it because the mainstream news just has to make everything a race issue these days. Deny ignorance, please.

In an assault on another American institution, the Obama administration's armed thugs raid the Gibson Guitar Corporation

Interview with Gibson CEO, Henry Juszkiewicz:

Gibson Guitar Corp. Responds to Federal Raid:

See more, at InstaPundit:

MORE ON THE GIBSON RAID: “Why would the government use armed agents to attack one of the few major manufacturers of anything remaining in the United States?” It’s like they don’t want to see the economy recover or something.

UPDATE: What a coincidence! CEO of Gibson Guitar a Republican Donor. And their Democratic-donating competitor, Martin, uses the same wood but wasn’t raided. Well, when you’ve got a President who jokes about tax audits as revenge for a personal slight, it’s hard not to be suspicious, isn’t it?

Wow.

To bring it to relevance here, I know Johnny Marr's a fan of Gibson guitars. See here: http://www.johnny-marr.com/guitarchestra

Seen him playing 'em over the years on some classics:

Johnny's taken to Twitter in the past to go after politicians. He Tweeted some rubbish about not approving of David Cameron liking his music. That was rather silly.

Hey, Johnny, you gonna Tweet about Obama sending armed thugs after Gibson?

More: Raid on Gibson guitar factory makes musicians fret
Robert Remington, Calgary Herald
Published: Saturday, August 27, 2011

A raid on the Gibson guitar factory Wednesday by U.S. federal authorities makes me, and a lot of other amateur and professional musicians, very nervous.

Many of us own vintage musical instruments made out of materials that are now subject to environmental protection. We are worried that these precious instruments could be confiscated by overzealous border agents if we travel internationally.

Guitar-playing snowbirds who head south with an old Martin guitar made of nowprotected Brazilian rosewood could have their loved and valuable instrument taken away from them unless they have proper documentation on its age, or even a permit if it contains binding, bridges or other parts made from now-banned species, unless those parts are old enough to qualify for an exemption.

The implications of the raid also raise fears for new instruments made from exotic woods, which produce varying tonal qualities depending on species. If you cannot prove that the wood has been ethically sourced, it could be pried out your loving hands. Even if the wood is sustainably certified, the Gibson raid shows that you could still run afoul of the law.

In the raid - the second on Gibson in the past two years - several pallets of Indian ebony, used to make fretboards, were seized when armed agents executed four search warrants on Gibson factories and offices in Memphis and Nashville.

Gibson, the storied maker of the Les Paul electric and iconic instruments like the ES-150 jazz guitar played by Charlie Christian, has been a leader in corporate responsibility on ethically sourced hardwoods. The company's chairman and CEO, Henry Juszkiewicz, issued a strongly worded statement defending his company's manufacturing policies.

"The wood the government seized Wednesday is from a Forest Stewardship Council certified supplier," he said.

The council is a notfor-profit organization established to promote responsible management of the world's forests. "FSC controlled wood standards require, among other things, that the wood not be illegally harvested and not be harvested in violation of traditional and civil rights," said Juszkiewicz.

So what did Gibson do wrong? According to the company, the U.S. Justice Department indicated that the wood was confiscated because it was not finished by Indian workers, in violation of the department's interpretation of Indian law. In other words, the tree may have been harvested in India, but shipped elsewhere to be fashioned into blank fretboards. But the Indian government, Gibson says, never complained.

If that's the basis of the action, how is the average person to possibly know where the ebony fretboard on their instrument was made? Without proof of every component part of an instrument, can a violin, guitar, mandolin or other instrument be confiscated at a border crossing?

"There's a lot of anxiety, and it's well justified," John Thomas, a law professor and blues and ragtime guitarist, told the Wall Street Journal.

One option is composite glass-and-carbon-fibre guitars like those made by RainSong. They are lightweight, impervious to climactic change and have surprisingly good sound, but to me, lack the rich tone of a wood guitar.

The controlled trade in exotic woods affects many instruments, from flutes to violins. Brazilian Pernambuco has been the preferred wood of violin bow makers ever since Francoise Xavier Tourte discovered its tonal properties in the 1780s. Pernambuco has given the classical music world the sound it has loved for more than 200 years.

The wood was excluded from being banned several years ago when bow makers rallied by setting up the International Pernambuco Conservation Initiative, which raises money to plant Pernambuco seedlings.

The treaties and the interpretation of laws governing trade in exotic wood have become so complex that even enforcement officials are confused. Fretboard Journal, a guitar magazine, even stumped an enforcement official with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service when it published a lengthy article on the issue in 2008.

"If the USFWS law enforcement spokesperson doesn't know, how can they expect us to know?" the author wrote. The magazine quoted vintage-guitar guru George Gruhn of Nashville: "Look, this thing is a nightmare. It's cumbersome, illogical and nearly unintelligible."

If an instrument is confiscated, the onus is on the owner to prove compliance. It has musicians everywhere singing the blues.

Hey, dumbass, you've posted in this thread multiple times and haven't had a damn thing to offer but stupid animated pics and the like.

I think it's a big f***ing deal that this insane administration (that you no doubt voted for) is sending armed agents after the Gibson Guitar Corp. on a bunch of bullshit. If you wanna defend the feds on this one, let's see you do so. If you're not interested in the topic, there's a whole bunch of other posts in this forum and the internet at large you could be posting replies to. Go kill yourself.

So you wage your pointless war on a website about a British singer that most people haven't heard of. Way to go, f***o!

Do you have an opinion on what the feds are doing to Gibson?

If not, why would you reply to the post?

You've replied to several of my posts around the forum. I've never gone looking for anything you've posted in threads I'm not interested in.

You a stalker?

BTW, judging by the Sarah Palin pic you posted, I guess you thought that proved something. But look what the feds under Obama are doing to a great American guitar company and average, ordinary guitarists across the country. Big government out of control, and it effects us all.

It proves I'd f*** her senseless, she is hot as hell!
Wait a minute, I can't f*** someone senseless who has no sense.

By the way, there is a monster recession on in the world, not just the US. I guess you blame Barry on that too. He is also responsible for the rise of China and the Bermuda Triangle.

Oh no! Someone I've never heard of before in my life is iggying me!

Anyway:

A new poll by CNN and ORC International finds that 27 percent of Democrats would like to see their party nominate a candidate other than Barack Obama for president in 2012.

***
The new poll is another indication of Democratic unhappiness with the president, but it does not mean Obama will face a challenge in his party's primaries. Despite the complaints of a few liberals like Sen. Bernard Sanders, the odds of a Democrat opposing the president appear to be something less than zero. But the new poll is still a matter of concern to Democrats, because it is yet another indication that there is significant disillusionment with the president within his own party. Whether those disaffected Democrats will come around to supporting Obama next year is an open question -- and perhaps the most worrying of the president's re-election bid.
