I have just pre-ordered mine.

If you haven't done the same and yet can actually be bothered to come on here and criticise this long awaited autobiography without having read so much as the foreword then you really are a sad bored socially inept tosser.

Re: Autobiography by Morrissey - Oct 17th

Awesome! The title "Morrissey, Autobiography" is pretty unimaginative though. Wish it had a better title.

i wish you had a better avatar... sunny corinthos? eww.

my prediction: before or after, there will never be another book as great as "autobiography"!!!!

Do you think he'll do a book signing tour?

If he does, I'm going to pee myself right now. Although, I turned into a bumbling fool when I met David Sedaris, and he's not even in the same league as Morrissey. Maybe, I'll hide in the corner and get a friend to get the book signed. I can then idolise my friend for having talk to him.

Are ebooks released on the morning of publication?

Can't wait.

The Penguin Classics thing is pretty impressive, but you'd have thought they would get someone whose first language is English to do the press release.

How can I shoehorn a line from"Paint a Vulgar Picture" into this?

Fantastic news. Never thought I would see the day. I can't wait to dedicate my weekend to this book.

A year with a new My Bloody Valentine album and Morrissey's autobiography would have been absolutely implausible to me, but look, look, it's all happened and life really is amazing.

Bit of an odd one... but preordering on Amazon - I've done this before and ended up getting said items late whilst others went to a bookshop day-of and purchased. Is there any actual benefit from pre-ordering? I presume you all paid extra for expedited delivery too?

Maybe if you actually pre-ordered it instead of waiting to be given a free copy, you would help more. And you know you've done your fair share of criticizing Morrissey on here, so spare us the sanctimonious "every one here is sad and bored" act while you bully the soloers to buy his book.

Firstly I have actually pre ordered from amazon.....what is this free copy comment?

Secondly this is my first ever post here so what are you bleating on about?

Criticising Morrissey is not something I would ever ever do.
