Posted in the "More rare versions of Morrissey / Smiths songs uploaded" thread by Irregular Regular:

Not quite in the same league as recent songs uploaded by Peter and Michael-Bone but if anyone is interested in the bonus tracks from the aborted Kill Uncle re-release, all in one place, you can find them here https://www.sendspace.com/file/3y4dhl

Thank you to everyone sharing stuff. If anyone is looking to upstage those who've already posted, 'I Know Who I Love' would be a nice way to do so, maybe the better version of Kit? Well if you don't ask....

I tiptoe 'round and I don't know why this is my house...more breakfast in bed, not for me though.

Very interesting stuff. Listening to these demo recordings for me just reinforces the importance of Morrissey's voice. He really shines here and it would be interesting to hear him release some more acoustic stuff at some point.

I agree. I also think they totally justify the heavier sound of Southpaw Grammar. We have five album tracks and two b-sides which I think were brought to life really well by the electric lead and rhythm guitars. Still, I do prefer (for the minute!) the acoustic version of You Must Please Remember - it has a feel of This Night Has Opened My Eyes/Wonderful Woman which, I imagine, would have been a nice treat on the b-side and a greater pull for all those who missed the Vauxhall sound.

It's also interesting to see how Vauxhall was toned down from being a heavier album. The previously released electric version of Why Don't You Find Out never did anything to me but this newer version seems to be good enough for release. Moz probably hates it, but I love having the chance to see how the albums have developed lyrically, vocally, and instrumentally. I really wish he'd gone into it more in Autobiography.
