    Very good....!!

Farewell tour coming up. His last 3 albums have been fantastic. Amongst his best work.

I consider him one of the very best composers and wordsmiths. A great acoustic guitarist, too. I agree that his last three albums are wonderful, however nothing can compare to "Graceland". "The Boy in the Bubble" is a real masterpiece, both musically and lyrically.
Probably I'm in minority, but I much prefer his solo output to Simon & Garfunkel recordings.

Yeah, do like the guy but think his best work was probably in the Clash.

I absolutely love Paul Simon, he is a master. I want to go to the Farewell show at Manchester, but the ticket prices are steep (£100!), which is putting off my friends. I think I'll go anyway though. Some of his solo stuff is towering, and gains even more on the occasions that Art's voice is added in:

How right thou art (see what I did there!).
The beautiful guitar lines in the coda of Bury the Living actually remind me more of the guitar sounds on Graceland (album) than the Marr comparisons that have been made.
