I seen that absolute tool last night , hope he isn't there tonight , world a much better place without him at a Mozza gig
I think this Nige bloke is suffering from a form of delusions. He really believes he’s Morrissey. I lost count at how many times he repeated himself in the pub the other night. I’m sure many fans do multiple dates and don’t need to broadcast it to the world like he’s doing. I think he needs a doctor.

Had a run in with this group at my first Morrissey show with a friend [yep we're both newbies] and the whole concept of the non official/fan created list works is so bizarre to me? Everyone else had queued for the day, us included, and 30 mins before they open the door about 20+ people are suddenly in front of us. I literally asked what the numbers meant on their hands because i hadn't seen them all day and i was treated like absolute shit. The leader of the group was yelling orders getting everyone else in the queue to move back to make room for the the people from the 'list'.

Fair play if they had camped out overnight, me and my friend could never! but these people seemingly appeared out of nowhere and were coming from the pub... I get and understand why the list was created, but in all honesty I don't get how it's fair that it's the SAME people at the front every damn time.

As for the gift thing i feel a little stupid about it now, I gave something to his tour manager and am now fully expecting to find it in the local charity shop lmao.

Andr3ws,I swear I have never heard of this until I read about it here. I have never thought or imagined this happens. It took me since 1991 to experience being at the front...row 3. I don't give a rat's ass if they camp overnight. It bothers me these people get preferential treatment. It bothers me they get ushered into the venue before everybody else. I don't have a clue who the tour manager is or looks like. I don't want to know if Morrissey endorses it because if I knew that he did I would find it very difficult to continue liking him.As for the small gift...I think he would appreciate the small and thoughtful ones. Heck...he wore a Tesco tie from a fan in Liverpool. Please don't assume your gift ended up in a charity shop. That's just my opinion.

As mentioned elsewhere, there are two diffferent groups. There is a small group who (apparently) Morrissey has granted privileges to - they are allowed to enter first. The people who run The List are not the same as the Morrissey VIPs. They’re just regular fans; a few of them camp out at the venue as early as possible, and their mates join them in dribs and drabs over the course of the day, and they all number each other like cattle. Different combinations of them come and go throughout the day, while some stay behind and “keep their place”. They all come back together at the venue about an hour before doors open, straight to the front of the queue.

I would call it a clever scam, but it isn’t; it’s just a scam. Not that this lot care; why should they? As long as they remain part of this clique, they’re guaranteed front row for any gig they attend. “And to hell, to hell, with anybody else…”

But.. look at the f***ing state of them. I mean, look at the f***ing state of them. What sad little lives they must have away from their group. When Morrissey retires/dies, they’ll be left with their empty lives and the shame of knowing that they have ruined the Morrissey gig experience for hundreds and hundreds of regular gig-goers.

U.G.L.Y they don't have no alibi. No wonder Morrissey looks so fed up looking at the same old boring people in the front row. It's enough to make him retire.

Crap. He's got geckoes on his wall. Not so hot on interior design is he?

Tesco tie was from new fan Trina. This is the masculine looking blonde girl who is extremely rude and is nasty about others behind their backs. She likes to tell others what they can and can’t do and tell people Morrissey only likes this, and he doesn’t like that and such & such. I think people are wise to her now. She must have posted 3333 pictures and content on her insta, this in spite of saying she wouldn’t be posting any more content or going to watch Morrissey again. She’s now teamed up with that creepy Andy guy who wears Farah pants to try and get the guest list scrapped. She hasn’t got a nice word for the majority of people but she’s very important. All in her own psychotic world. 🇳🇿
Maybe she’s gone off the rails and was once a nice lady. But then if my auntie Christine had balls, she would be my uncle Christopher.

Oh don't get me wrong! I know that there are a select few that are Morrissey's guests, that I was completely fine with! [thank you for clarifying which list i was referring to btw, it will be helpful for anyone reading what i'm saying] - it was just the sheer arrogance and rudeness of the unofficial list people that shocked me and my friend!

My friend [I believe] gave Morrissey's tour manager/nephew an Oscar Wilde t-shirt for him, so i'm hoping at least theirs made it to him! I don't mind so much if mine didn't make it, my friend is the bigger fan so think it will mean more.

They were also really nasty after one of the shows, because my friend made it to second row and Morrissey came over a lot and one of them had the audacity to say that "they were taking away too much attention" which is just f***ing WILD. In my opinion, he was probably just happy to see a new face in the second row! - We've now decided to steer completely clear of that little Clique, as much as possible anyway.

Thank you for all your responses! - I know i'm just another person moaning on the internet but its nice to see im not going completely coo-coo.

How about this…

If you want to queue up and sleep for 2 nights to be on the list, that’s fine. Anyone is free to join the fans who do this. Moz’s cousin and tour manager literally ensures these people get in first so Moz clearly has no issue with it.

If you want to turn up on the afternoon of the gig and queue up then guess what, that’s fine too! But obviously you’ll be behind the list people because they’ve queued longer. This is how a queue works.

If you want to buy Moz gifts like ties and post millions of pics of the gigs then guess what? That’s also fine! Moz wears these gifts onstage so he clearly has no problem with it.

I don’t see why any of the above things would annoy people. BUT, if you do want to get annoyed by it, then that’s fine too.

I was on the front row for Liverpool night 2 (bought tickets with my own money!) With it being all seated, there was no list, although usual list people had managed to get in first (Marianne being one). Our seats were empty, thankfully, but they were sat around us looking tense until they got asked to move by the people who had actually bought the seats. I don't know if the woman next to me was from the list as I didn't recognise her, but she was friendly with them and seemed to know them. They got her to ask us to move and we said no because it was already cramped and we'd paid for front row. They all kept moving up and were starting to get into my space, so I put my hands on the barrier to block them. Woman next to me decides to put her clenched fist on top of my hand, pressing her full weight on it, and pinning my hand to the barrier. She had rings on too. I'm only small and couldn't get my hand free. Eventually she turned around and acted like she hadn't noticed, which was ridiculous - how can you not feel another person moving their hand beneath yours? When the show was about to start, she was being condescending and acting like we didn't know anything about Morrissey or his concerts, just because we'd never been at the front. She also said we should move because we would get crushed, and we didn't move and weren't crushed. Venue staff tried to get them all to move away from the stage but they didn't. Thankfully, once the show started, there was no pushing and shoving and I had a great time. :)

If people want to queue for hours outside venues where it's standing room only in front of the stage, then fine. I think it's a bit strange to want to go to every gig and be at the front every time as surely it stops being special. But fine. It's a free for all if there's no seats. Trying to take the seats of people who have paid good money for them is disgusting though. Being rude to other fans like they were to Andr3ws is disgusting too, and acting like we didn't know a thing about Morrissey just because we don't usually sit at the front is simply ridiculous. I don't care whether someone has been to no concerts, one concert, 300 concerts, whether they sit at the front or back, think The Kid's A Looker is the best song ever, has been following since the 80s or an hour ago - we are all there to enjoy the show and should be polite. The ones who aren't capable of basic manners should stay home and watch it on Youtube - after all, many of them seemed to prefer watching the entire thing through their phones instead of with their own eyes

Reasonable points here Mozhug, of course if the gig is seated then people should be not forced out of the seats they have paid for, I agree.
