Why would someone with an accent be non-white?

You missed off his sympathy for Tommy Robinson.
But his criticism of Sadiq Khan is actually fair enough and is absolutely nothing to do with Khan's ethnicity. Khan does what Blair used to drop - speak in a contrived way to try and sound like the common man e.g. by dropping his t's, and the 'g' off words ending in 'ing. It's pretty nauseating and people should be allowed to call him out on it without having to face lazy racism accusations.

I may as well add this in - he wasn't 'sympathising' with Tommy Robinson - he was against the idea that the state was preventing people from speaking out (in this case, about a crime).

It was one sentence & he's never mentioned him before or since.
