An REM thread for r.e.m. stuff

Launch CD-ROM Magazine.

During Launch’s short life two year life was a CD-Rom and cover of REM. The CD Rom was very cool. You clicked on stuff to reveal info about REM. Hard to explain. Also on the CD-Rom was an exclusive live song by REM. I think it’s safe to say this might be one of the hardest REM live songs to find from Comps, Benefits, or Magazines. Never seen it anywhere. But I got the Launch Mag when I was in college. Here is an example of it on Amazon......http://www.amazon.com/Launch-Magazine-Blowfish-Charlize-Offspring/dp/B0031532N8

Here is the song Suspicion -Live from the Tibet and Freedom Concert -1998

Thanks for the upload! Any chance you could share at a 320 bitrate? If not, I completely understand.

sorry not sure how to do that

If you have the CD and Itunes, it is very easy. Just go to preferences>Under General settings is Import Settings>Under those settings go to MP3 Encoder> Custom>Choose 320 CBR and save. Then rip the CD.

I used to think it was very hard, but it really is simple. Gives a much higher quality rip.

Again, if you can't do it, I completely understand.

Thanks,

This is from a cassette trade from a long time ago in a galaxy far far away. It's not perfect and had obviously been copied a few times before it got to me but it's really listenable.

Thanks!

But... are you sure it's really the show? I mean, the songs are kind of mixed up and even some songs that were not played appear... I used to have this but I figured it might not be the July 19 show at all :(

i was copy the link from here http://talkingaboutthepassion.forumup.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=18&mforum=talkingaboutthepassion
and now i have downloaded the show again and then i was checking out the setlist http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/rem/1999/stirling-castle-stirling-scotland-33d694d1.html
and the recording, and the recording and the setlist was the same at my computer.

And did you play the songs? I mean, the setlist is fine on the recording but when you play the songs, they're pretty much mixed up and do not correspond to the title... Try to play Find The River and what you get will be The Great Beyond :)
