Songs For A Green World

What is this thing? Well, I know it's a concert from their 1989 Green tour in Orlando. But it trickled out as a CD in some European Amazon sites but no official release info that I saw. Other message board had speculation that it was an unofficial/illegal bootleg but seemed odd that any Amazon site would have it. Then it popped up at HMV in England. Now it's available from 7digital here in the states, but not Amazon, iTunes, or emusic.

So, is this a licenced release? If so, why isn't getting any hype? If not, where did it come from (and should everybody grab it before it vanishes)?

Finally, the sound is very good. But does anyone have a bootleg of this show? How does the sound compare?

This is an odd one, I saw it in a store here in Australia and it looks official (opposed to all those 'unauthorised' discs you see around). Its the radio broadcast of the Westwood One show, the most common bootlegged REM performance - if it is an official release they picked a bad one because most REM fans would already have it.

"This CD features the full show played at the Orlando Arena in Florida on 30th April 1989, also the subject of a live FM broadcast."

Running time: 72 minutes.
Songs are:
1. Pop Song 89
2. Exhuming McCarthy
3. Welcome to the Occupation
4. Disturbance at the Heron House
5. Turn You Inside Out
6. Orange Crush
7. Feeling Gravity s Pull
8. Swan Swan H
9. Begin the Begin
10. Pretty Persuasion
11. I Believe
12. King of Birds
13. Crazy
14. Finest Work Song
15. You are the Everything
16. Academy Fight Song
17. Stand
18. Perfect Circle
19. Get Up

Sibko is correct. its basically a none fade out version of the infamous bootleg perfect circle . strangely missing end of the world though? i grabbed my copy £7.99 from HMV. it uses 3 pictures [front cover from 1985, back 89 and i think an inner photo from 1991]. its a cheap release but its nice to have a decent recording from 89, especially this show
