Morrissey Central "ALL THE BEST ONES ARE DEAD" (September 5, 2020)

Exactly, the digital ID information would be accessible to state representatives: the police, of course, and possibly a Covid-enforcement team of some sort. That’s at the heart of the idea. To not have the vaccination would equate to being a second class citizen.

If the supposition is that it will not impact on individual freedoms, then why have it on the ID in the first place? The state keeps vaccination records already.

Tony Blair advanced the idea in the context of Covid. He’s formerly appealed to ideas of crime, safety and terrorism. And it was a the front of an agenda when he was PM. This is scarcely conspiracy theory.

His idea is that it saves time & money by making everything quicker but it's always opposed.

And there's none so stupid as those who just make shit up...
Please explain what we’re not getting about the Digital ID proposal—as it’s being advanced in the Covid context. What is the benign purpose you perceive?

It's your claim that such an ID leads inexorably to 'compulsory vaccination.' It's an empty claim, not least because (a) Tony Blair has been banging on about such things for about two decades and got precisely nowhere with it, and (b) the current Tory shitshow are about as likely to listen to Blair as they are to you or me.

The Tory shitshow will follow the money. And I did qualify what ‘compulsory’ would mean: the sanctions would likely be civil rather than criminal.

I don't particularly care about anti-vaxxers, it's new agey & if things got really bad they'd find some way of convincing enough of them that a jab was necessary. But yet again Moz is getting the flack for something he's only muttered about just because some other person said something.

It’s hardly unfounded.

It is, because there's not even a vaccine yet nevermind plans to force it onto the public against their will or create pockets of people who can't go anywhere because they're not vaccinated.

There are vaccines, it’s their safety, cost and long term viability that’s now being tested. There was a form of vaccination right from the get go—through blood transfusion.

Yep, speculation in the mainstream media and society at large. Not just a few 'internet sleuths' and cranks...

Gash, do you not know the difference between people discussing things that could happen & you saying things will happen?

Should the debate happen after the horse has bolted, so we’re sure and not just speculating?

Good enough for what? It's speculation.

Need not worry the both of you. You will see your masters in due time. Verso will be waiting!
