Xfm 25: 'Album' by PiL

The next in our series of documentaries on groundbreaking albums features John Lydon's poppiest outing yet...

This Month... 'Album' by Public Image Ltd.
Following the implosion of the Sex Pistols in 1978, singer Johnny Rotten reverted to his real name John Lydon and set up Public Image Ltd, a collective that produced some of the most extreme music of the post-punk era. By 1986, Lydon was exploring poppier waters and the result was 'Album' (or 'Cassette' if you bought it on tape).
Xfm pays tribute to this groundbreaking album with another in our series of hour-long documentaries. Ian Camfield speaks to John Lydon about the making of the record, its impact and more...

Reckless Endangerment
It'd be nice if it didn't f***ing freeze up on me. There's no way to fast-forward or rewind this. Bastards. I had wanted to hear this, too, but there's no way I'm going to be arsed to refresh the page and listen to what I had already listened to for fifteen minutes just to hear the rest.
I've got an mp3 of this if anyone wants it.
