The setlist was the same as for the last few gigs, but lacked the final encore of "Handsome Devil". As soon as he entered stage, Morrissey asked "You're not tired already are you? (crowd: 'No!') Good..." before opener "William It Was Really Nothing". After "I Want The One I Can't Have", the crowd broke into a chant of Morrissey's name. "Shakespeare's Sister" was introduced with the announcement "This is our new single... which... all your favourite DJs will not play... because they say it's not required...". That single was as a matter of fact the least successful one at this point since the Smiths had made it big. "Meat Is Murder" was dedicated "... for everybody who came here by McDonalds".
