This was an excellent concert. Morrissey gave a very passionate performance and was overall much more talkative than he had been so far on this tour. He was very playful and often teased his fans who were very vocal in their appreciation. At some point into the concert someone waved a concert poster with "Morrissey 1 - Joyce NEVER" written on the back, obviously referring to the Cleveland incident. When he saw it Morrissey gave a sign of appreciation. Later he took it and held it in front of his face as if the image on the poster was singing. Near the end of the concert Morrissey threw the shirt he had been wearing into the audience. He had done the same earlier with a tambourine. Security was not very tight.

There wasn't much change in the setlist. The less appreciated "Ambitious Outsiders" was dropped for the first time on this tour. From now on it would played only on and off. On this date it was replaced by part-timer "Sunny".

Morrissey only introduced himself after "The Boy Racer", and he did it by saying "It's nice to see you again... (crowd cheers) My name is Marilyn Manson... (crowd laughs) That wasn't funny... this is..." and then went into "Alma Matters". After "Billy Budd", he enquired "Are you comfortable?" In "Reader Meet Author", besides the usual changes, Morrissey sang "No one ever hears me when I cry". After the song he chatted again with his audience: "Has anybody interesting played here lately? Has anybody from England been here lately? (fans shout names) Who? (more names) Sorry, who? So nobody from England has played here recently? (fans shout names again) Who? Who? Oh Catherine Wheel..."

After "Wide To Receive", the next planned song was introduced by Morrissey with the words "This next song was released as a single in England, but it wasn't... (turning towards a fan who kept screaming) Do you mind? (returning to the subject) It wasn't considered good enough for the American market... of course they were right... it's called 'Sunny'." After that song's performance he asked "Do you have any requests?", which prompted the fans to shout their favourite titles. None of them seemed to interest Morrissey, who never took requests anyways, so he replied "Not very interesting..."

After "The More You Ignore Me, The Closer I Get" Morrissey chatted with his audience again. He self-depreciatingly teased them "I suppose you're bored shitless, really? (crowd: NO!) Oh, you're are... (crowd: NO!) Oh you are!" After "Speedway" he teased the fans again by saying "My trousers are completely wet!... So friends..."

BOOTLEGS

A fair sounding audience recording of the full set is circulated on bootlegs, including in digital format on the internet.
