I give the nod to Casino Royale. I appreciated that James Bond didn't always speak in epigrams; that he made mistakes. That he had depth of character. Some taut action scenes including one of the best chase scenes ever, a well told story, and a very capable Daniel Craig, I consider it the best of the bunch.
Funny how no one lists Octopussy as their favourite film. The Indian scenes for this film were shot in Udaipur, even today you can eat out any night of the week and find three or four restaurants showing the film while you eat - classy.
Saw Skyfall last week. Not all that impressed. Maybe I am stuck in a time warp when it comes to Bond. I miss the weird exploding pens and cheesy sexual innuendo. Not a fan of Daniel Craig. Though he was good in the remake of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.
