New Moz photo by Andrew Quinn - "on Cut Throat Lane"

Either he's been exercising/dieting or SER's photoshop skills have gone through the roof! Looks fab.

The Guardian: "Who’s bad? From Michael Jackson to David Bowie, why are some stars uncancellable" by Tim Jonze - tiny Moz mention (April 1, 2024)

Allegations against Jackson were tested in court, but not guilty isn't good enough for some when there's virtue signalling in the offing, the glow of righteousness is very alluring. Also, anyone can make allegations after someone's death, no fear of having them adjudicated and being exposed. If...

Morrissey Central "SO THIS IS WHERE YOUR FATHER WAS BORN?" (February 22, 2024)

If only Marr had felt similarly euphoric. I've always thought it was a great pity they didn't make it to 1990 and bow out at the beginning of a new decade, like The Beatles. So many songs unwritten.

Morrissey is now being managed by Pete Galli of Red Light Management (February 12, 2024)

To kickstart things I'm thinking a collaboration with BTS - if they're still a thing. Maybe have Taylor Swift replace Miley's vocals? Probably not a Kanye collab.

Morrissey Central "Bonfire of teenagers" (February 7, 2024)

It's a glorious post, great fodder. Perhaps could have only been improved by the guy breaking the chains being Nelson Mandela.

Official Manager Statement regarding Morrissey’s health (January 26, 2024)

Now that everything's cancelled at least there can't be any further disappointments. Things are looking up!

Official Manager Statement regarding Morrissey’s health (January 26, 2024)

When I'm exhausted I sit in a chair for several minutes. Works wonders.

Uncut 500 Greatest Albums of the 80s (Jan’24)

They should maybe change it to the 500 greatest English language LPs. There's even an English language version of that Kraftwerk LP. Seems almost quaint how narrow in scope it is, given how easy it is these days to listen to music from anywhere.

Morrissey Central "VAPE? Nope. PEN? Yep." (January 15, 2024)

Looking at that pic it just popped into my head that my hands look exactly like that. Particularly the right one. Just thought I'd mention it...

Morrissey Central "SOMEWHERE IN PORTUGAL" (January 2, 2024)

Love or loathe this bridge, it's always a delight (without endorsing the bridge's written opinions) to drive under it.

    Fiona Dodwell: “Truth-Tellers Silenced” (December 29, 2023)

It's the age old dilemma of who looks where in group photos. In the new pic they went with 3 looking at the camera and 3 down the street.

Is "Panic" secretly about Jimmy Saville? - James Hargreaves Guitar / YouTube

It's fairly obvious that Jack The Ripper is about The Boston Strangler.

Morrissey acquired rights to Bonfire of Teenagers?

Only version I saw credits Morrissey as source rather than the typical record company. Did Capitol ever have the UK rights?

    Strange/unexpected Moz references?

I was watching a Danish film, perhaps a decade ago, about a suicidal teenager that was planning to run away from home. On the wall of her room was a picture of Morrissey. No music featured, but clearly the set decorator thought: what's shorthand hand for depressed and suicidal? I know, a pic of Moz!

Morrissey Central “BONFIRE DOUSED” (February 7, 2023)

I thought Capitol didn't acquire publishing rights for the UK, couldn't it be released there by someone?
