No, you're in the majority. Loads of people obsess over Sleepflower but don't think highly of GATS, I was surprised Gigi shared my opinion.
I hadn't seen that! Excellent! Can't wait for some recordings.
I'm the same, huge fan of GATS, but not of Sleepflower. What are your favourite songs off GATS?
Likewise Generation Terrorists & The Holy Bible are both brilliant in their own way.
Yeh, the Moon & Antarctica speaks for itself really. I voted They were great before JM joined. I'm personally glad Marrs joined them, hopefully catch him when I see them at the Ritz.
I like all of their stuff, but I'd say there was a huge decrease in quality after WTSMG?. Noel used too many of his great songs as b-sides, resulting in albums with some b-side material on them.
I mean look at this:
1. "Some Might Say" - 5:28
2. "Talk Tonight" - 4:21
3. "Acquiesce" -...
1. TIALTNGO
16. Death at One's Elbow
8. Well I Wonder
9. Death of a Disco Dancer
4. William
13. That Joke Isn't Funny Anymore
5. Back to the Old House (BBC)
12. Nowhere Fast
3. Handsome Devil
14. Hand That Rocks the Cradle
6. Headmaster Ritual
11. Paint a Vulgar Picture...
Which firewall are you using? If you haven't already set the client to unblocked do so & if that doesn't work, try disabling it momentarily and seeing if that helps (my ZoneAlarm blocked some programs regardless of what I told it).
Am I right in thinking the only available Wonderful Woman (David Jensen Session 26.06.1983) is of fair quality & inferior to the majority? I personally prefer the David Jensen version of Pretty Girls Make Graves to the one released, spine-tingling stuff.
I have the complete audience recording, however I only have three tracks out of the omitted 6 in soundboard quality. Those being:
There Is A Light That Never Goes Out | Frankly, Mr. Shankly | How Soon Is Now?
Which are from the 'Dance With Octopusses' bootleg.
To see how these songs fitted...
