during the last tour my friend and i flew down to st louis. we were there for most of the day in the line up but made friends with some people who agreed to keep our place if we would theres. so we frequently stalked the back entrances (there were 2) to see if we could see him coming in at all...
these directions ended up working great for me! i took the greyhound from toronto and ended up eating lunch downtown, then taking the subway and bus to the north campus. for my first time in buffalo in years and travelling alone, i think i navigated it pretty well. and the concert was awesome...
Re: Buffalo Show
Thank you so so so much! This completely alleviates the stress I had about getting there. I am taking the greyhound and it looked like getting off at the Amherst stop would be closer and I could possibly take a cab from there. I didn't realize there was a subway system so...
I know there have been a tonne of these threads for every specific show and it must be getting tiresome. So I will try and keep it short.
Does anyone know of local transport that could get me from downtown Buffalo (bus station) to the University? Mapquest tells me that it's about a 20 minute...
she's off doing brilliant things overseas in university. i wish her all the best. she likely just hasn't the time to come on here anymore. we all move on eventually.
that's true. i hope that is the case. either way the venue is not that large so really it's not a big deal. but i just can't see security letting everyone rush the front. but fingers crossed! good luck with yours if you get some.
for me, the checkout page would not work. everytime i got to it to confirm my credit card information, it would not let me scroll down. so i literally watched as my time ran out and my good tickets were given away. i finally highlighted the whole page of text and dragged the mouse down which...
i finally figured out how to get around the stupid glitch in the website and bought tickets. not as good as the one's i drew up this morning but not terrible i guess. how exhausting.
how long do you think the wait will be for them to release better ones? like at 11am? or a couple of days or closer to the date? i have little to no experience with seated events.
yeah this whole week has been a huge waste of my time trying to get these tickets. and i swear if i don't get at least decent ones i'm going to think about swearing off ticketbastard in the future. they are so hard to avoid though. i only have to get two tickets so considerably easier.
do you think?
i mean i don't want to be greedy and not get tickets now and then be even worse off later if i can't get the front orchestra when they release it.
wow, ticketmaster is the bane of my existence.
i was even satisfied with the tickets i got and tried to purchase them but the website pages to confirm purchases and the checkout area won't load properly so i end up losing them everytime. frustration to the max. i've even tried it on different...
unfortunately, bringing up this subject again won't change anything. you'd have to speak directly to morrissey or the canadian government in order to make some sort of a resolution (which is altogether unlikely). as a canadian moz fan, it was dissapointing to hear that he wouldn't be coming here...
yeah. i sort of prepared myself for it as it said on the website yesterday that the itunes thing would be available to us residents only. and people were saying that it was likely just the code for the digital download that wouldn't work here but i thought otherwise. so i wasn't completely...
i don't drive either. but i would rather a 3 or so hour bus ride versus a 8 or so hour one to nyc. i just hope that tomorrow when i try to pull up good seats i can actually buy them this time. i didn't actually think that was going to be a problem. i might try to go to a nyc date as well just...
