Maybe part of any new record deal is pre-approval from management before an interview, and this is an assurance to them (and us) that this "new" interview is just a re-post of something from years ago.
Not sure M would agree to anything that strict, but if he never does interviews anyway, it's...
I don't pretend to know him, but I'd imagine Morrissey would rather retire tomorrow than do the "greatest hits" tour many of you are clamoring for.
Also, 19 songs: I'd argue that 6 are some of his "greatest" solo songs, and the 5 Smiths' songs are classics by default, the remaining 8 are a mix...
Agreed. I don't know why he plays venues that have seated stalls. Everybody stands up as soon as he comes on, and people from further back rush to the front. If I'd paid full whack for seats towards the front and I was suddenly stood behind 100 people I'd be furious.
Upstairs circle seating...
During the second song, Morrissey stopped singing to say “really?” over and over again to one particular security who was pacing up and down in front of the stage, rolling up his short sleeve shirt to show his biceps off.
Morrissey’s security guy jumped down and told them all to back off to the...
Ticket available on viagogo (costs slightly more due to fees) if somebody wants to buy it but is wary of buying directly.

I can't get to London due to the train strike, anybody want to buy 1x seated Circle Block 2 Row Q Seat 18 ticket? Seating plan below.
Cost me £53.90 total inc. fees. Will sell for £40. DM me for my paypal info, send me the money and I'll forward on the email which has a pdf. of the ticket.
Cheers!
I think both. The tweet suggests that Rick Astley is in a better position to be the singer on Smiths songs these days, and Rick performed them at Glastonbury this weekend to a great response and a lot of positive press. So it is the tweet, the positive reaction to Rick at Glasto and complete...
I think if I was Morrissey and I was sat at home watching Glastonbury, and Rick Astley and Blossoms were covering my songs to rapturous applause, and then watching Johnny Marr on stage with the Pretenders, I'd definitely feel left out. Smiths-era or even up to 2000s/2010s Morrissey would have...
I’m not one of those people who decide to stop listening to M or The Smiths when he shares or talks about this kind of stuff, but it is quite boring.
It gets an “oh right…yeah” and a nod sort of reaction, the same when your grandad goes on about some conspiracy he saw on Facebook.
If Morrissey posts a tribute every time an obscure Italian actress from B-movies of the 1960s dies, I am sure he will comment on Andy's passing.
RIP. The Smiths were together 40+ years ago and Andy was still in his 50s when he died, reminds you how young the band was.
This is typical Morrissey, and not necessarily in a bad way. He is pissed off with something, and everybody else probably feels the same way but he is the one who says something about it while everybody else is quiet. Story of his career.
It is quite a non-story and definitely not the hit piece...
This is why I bought circle seats for Liverpool and London.
I was in the back half of stalls at Blackpool last year - all meant to be seated, but there was a group stood between row A stalls and the stage.
I don't want to buy a great stalls seat and have people stood in front of me, I would...
Got 2x seats for Liverpool and 1x seat for London. ATG's website is a good shout if he ever plays these venues, the seats don't sell out as fast compared to the other websites.
Might get Leeds tickets closer to the time, I don't think it will sell out fast seeing as the capacity is double the...
Great set list, great band energy and he sounded fantastic. I have got to say though, not a fan of the two brand new songs, Pop Dropped and Without Music (especially the latter). The funky music doesn’t really suit his voice and lyrically a bit on the nose.
I do love Telephone, Veronica and...
Sounds plausible. But announcing the July dates, then un-announcing them in the hope that people buy tickets for a gig in 5 days, then re-announcing the July dates seems like a way to confuse people and put them off buying any tickets at all.
