No one said those words, specifically, to me, but that's very much the impression I got, too. Awful, wasn't it? I felt mortified for both Moz and myself. Although he performed beautifully, I felt like the crowd and the atmosphere were such drainers. I didn't care so much about all that after he...
I felt hugely embarrassed being up in the first tier. It was like being amongst a bunch of bored zombies. If anyone so much as dared to stand up or sing you got looked at like some kind of lunatic. Moz deserved so, so much better. His voice was incredible, as was his performance.
He always has such intriguing titles. So far, I'm most looking forward to hearing:
My Love, I'd Do Anything For You
I Wish You Lonely
Spent The Day In Bed
In Your Lap
When You Open Your Legs (which is sure to be either/both hilarious and devastatingly, accurately morbid.)
Woops. You're right, I think it is my overall favourite - that and 'I Have Forgiven Jesus'. There's a nostalgia to those as they're the first ones I heard. As you can tell I was in a really good place at the time. :lbf: Yes! I agree wholeheartedly with you - I love 'Because of My Poor...
Lol, no. :blushing: It's a part-memoir, part literary novel with supernatural themes. But similar to Lindqvist, Moz has - unwittingly - provided much inspiration / support throughout, and he's referenced from time to time.

;) Moz is actually blind, though - remember the 'Forget one's contact...
I quite like leaving a few songs to discover, though, don't you? Certain days you just want to go on a binge. I love that moment when you stumble on a new-old song that leaves you in awe.
It's so difficult to narrow it down to a top ten list, isn't it? It's like a mild form of mental torture...
Hey! :D I love it, too. It always reminds me of back when I first discovered his music, as it was one of the first few songs I came across that really floored me with how much I could empathise with him. Made me blub like a baby. So what's your top ten, then, out of curiosity? B-sides/unreleased...
Oh, I don't take it personally. I do understand the reasoning behind it, but equally I think the percentage is just a little extreme - even 60/40 would have been more sensible, especially since many Morrissey fans are from up north. And as someone said further up, there are so many means of...
