i wasn't that fussed about the smiths with what i'd seen of them until my girlfriend game me hatful of hollow to listen to, how wrong was i, i was blown away and have been ever since, soon after this i went to my first ever gig, the smiths at the royal albert hall during the meat is murder tour...
i liked a lot of their early stuff and have just got the new album superbi which has really grown on me.
i am going to see them at the hammersmith apollo in december.
what a great night we had last night, a big thanks to the organisers and the smyths who were brilliant.
also the crowd who were there were really up for it, all in all a top night. :)
my favourite smiths lyric would have to be
I was minding my business
Lifting some lead off
The roof of the Holy Name church
It was worthwhile living a laughable life
To set my eyes on the blistering sight
Of a vicar in a tutu
He's not strange
He just wants to live his life this way
