Re: Morrisseysworld says it has now replaced so-low as Moz news website Amazing essay
I don't see any irony. It's a new site without trolls. Isn't that a good thing?
Incredible essay on the blog
"The joy of music is that it allows one to dream, which in turn allows one to find that grain of hope. Hope is not a moral; it is a life-force. A good song is as abstract as a dream or nightmare, tethered to reality by frayed threads, liable to snap at any given...
Re: Morrisseysworld says it has now replaced so-low as Moz news website Amazing essay
I forgot to mention there's an astonishing essay on the site - by whom I don't know. Before you rant at me, this is highly news-wrothy just for being a superb essay. It's one of the best things I've ever...
Morrisseysworld says it has now replaced so-low as Moz news website Amazing essays to
www.morrisseysworld.blogspot.com has announced today that it has replaced morrissey-solo as Morrissey's number 1 unofficial news site. The site now posts news and allows discussion exactly like Morrissey-solo...
in fact the very morning of the true to you announcement, 'Morrissey' on the www.morrisseysworld.blogspot.com site actually posted an article referring directly to his 'ironic t shirt tour.'
try addressing the points above, you lemming. When he first issued a denial the site wasnt even linked anywhere and nobody knew about it. Morrissey was the one who publicized it. Now he's denied it a second time and again without criticising it. I suppose all of the above points are pure...
Re: @morrisseysmum
the only site that has predicted things accurately is morrisseysworld.

Sarcastic?
You misunderstand. I'm a genuine fan of Uncle Skinny. I admire the way he conducts himself on here with a quiet dignity that befits his rank as 'senior member.' He also has hit fingers in numerous pies - makes a few oblique references to his many 'sources' within the music industry...
Guardian review of London Palladium - mentions morrisseysworld blog
David has chosen to hide away a superb review of Morrissey's London show, mentioning the latest Bieber-related issues and morrisseysworld.blogspot, burying it on a thread about the London palladium.

and yet you wrote an email to someone you thought to be Morrissey claiming he was a sad shadow of his former self and had been easily surpassed by DD.

1 Art-Hounds - a rocket-propelled piece of pop music replete with falsetto and bizarre lyrics. More please.
2 Scandinavia - strange, could sound fabulous with the right production.
3 Action - hummable.
People are the Same/ Kid's a Looker - oh dear. B-sides hopefully.
Agreed wrt OK By. That is Morrissey scraping the very bottom of the barrel. The lyrical couplets you refer to as 'going somewhere good' are to me the lowest point of the album. Entirely predictable, lyrically and musically. It's worse than anything on Maladjusted. Well, excluding Roy's Keen...
I think the lyrics are fantastic. Strange, dark, unique. When I watched Morrissey sing them in London, it was one of those magical moments. When you first hear that song on record, I think you're going to be suitably impressed.
Yes but appearances can be deceptive. I met a girl on here a couple of years ago who I stayed in contact with. She seemed like she was quite sharp and sassy: turned out to be a sarcastic, self-centred bore - and just as childish as the people here she used to berate. I think she's bitter about...
My favourite Smiths songs/versions ever played by Morrissey as a solo artist are:
1 Paint a Vulgar Picture on the Maladjusted tour - was too exciting when he played a Smiths song back then
2 There is a Light on the pre-Quarry tour in the noughties - thrilling and seemed to symbolise his...
Skylarker, despite your grim moaning and constant presence here (not to mention David Brett's criticisms) I quite like you, you know. You have a unique character. Why didn't I give it a perfect 10? Because it's not perfect. Nothing is.
