I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

Both Quarry anniversary events cancelled (January 25, 2024)

She Wants Revenge on cancelled Quarry shows She Wants Revenge -who were supposed to support Morrissey on both You Are The Quarry shows- posted two statements on their Instagram account. And quite naturally they don't sound happy about the cancellations.

The Suede thread for Suede things

I've started listening to Suede very recently and I must say I quite like what I've heard so far. A distinctive voice and a distinctive sound. Lyrics sometimes feel a bit "meh" but the delivery usually compensates for them. I gave the first two albums and the latest one a few listens but...

    What happened to Swords?

Who was that guy that told Morrissey that he looked cross-eyed on Vauxhall and I cover? I wonder what he thought of that... I'm OK with the slightly constipated cover but never understood why he wore watches on both wrists.

Poll What's the reason for recording a new album when BOT's release is still uncertain?

I'm one of those who can't suffer 12 minutes of drum solo and distorted guitar fade-outs. So I'll kindly wish for the opposite.

Morrissey Central France, Belgium concerts and 1 UK date announced (January 10, 2023)

Some people take issue with him using his younger pictures. He is at perfect liberty to choose whichever photograph he wants to use on his posters, it is him after all, but I just don't understand why he doesn't use a more recent one. It's not as if [obligatory lyric reference] the nation is...

Morrissey Central France, Belgium concerts and 1 UK date announced (January 10, 2023)

I'm still hoping for an extensive Europe tour but would it be too naive to assume, considering that he has left his label/management? Surely he has a team that deals with logistics and touring in general. A tour like 2012 or 2014 would be great.

    Honestly thought it was genuine.

Morrissey Central "WHEN YOU ARE THE QUARRY" (January 6, 2023)

Never thought about before but that seems plausible. Billie Joe Armstrong and Thelma Houston were both credited. But I don't know why Billie Joe got a "feat." bit when he was nearly inaudible while Thelma practically belting out her trademark notes got a mere "backing vocal" title.

Morrissey Central "WHEN YOU ARE THE QUARRY" (January 6, 2023)

It's never a dull day in Morrissey camp. What a way to start 2023. However much he claims to be "apolitical" (which he is not as the personal is political), his wording and narrative always, without fail, sound incredibly politician-like. The way he weaves the web around himself and allures to...

Morrissey Central "WHEN YOU ARE THE QUARRY" (January 6, 2023)

Well, fair enough. I was actually trying to say that she isn't a clueless teenager, in dire need of some punk rock/old stock father figure, but a proper adult.

Morrissey Central "Another one bites the dust." (January 3, 2023)

Considering the uneven reception of Oblivion and BoT, it may not reach the iconic status of SMiLE. We've already heard almost %70 of the album anyway, and the live version of Rebels fared better than the auto-tuned studio version. But I get what you mean. (btw two of my favourite solo Morrissey...

Morrissey Central "Another one bites the dust." (January 3, 2023)

Of course, if I had to choose between the two of them, I would definitely go for Alain. Mando, Manzur, Lopez, Tobias have composed very solid songs throughout the years but they've always been a bit "ehvenişer" as comparered to Alain's compositions. ...but will we ever hear those potential...

Morrissey Central "Another one bites the dust." (January 3, 2023)

The title song, Trouble Loves Me, Alma Matters and Ambitious Outsiders are wonderful. I first listened to the 2009 reissue a couple of years after it was released, unaware of the original tracklist, and was shocked to see that This Is Not Your Country, The Edges Are No Longer Parallel, I Can...

Morrissey Central "Another one bites the dust." (January 3, 2023)

May I suggest Lover-To-Be for that list? And to avoid the unlucky number, Spent the Day in Bed perhaps. Just for luck. I quite like the songs that Mando wrote for him in IANADOAC and LIHS. I hope that New Year dinner that Morrissey had with him had a tinge of "business" in it. I don't like...

Morrissey Central "Another one bites the dust." (January 3, 2023)

I never understood his hatred towards original Kill Uncle and Maladjusted covers. I mean yeah he's bitter that he didn't have full control over them but Kill Uncle artwork he later revised looks like he's doing gymnastics in front of a public toilet. And the revised Maladjusted looks like a soft...
