Re: Article: "Istanbul" - spoken-word promo video
After first listen, I really enjoyed this one. Interesting lyrics which I haven't quite had the time to disect but very promising. Love the music too, funky and melodic. Can imagine it fitting on Ringleader.
Also, of what...
If the release of World Peace is anything to go by, the next single should be released at midnight tonight, has anyone seen/heard anything (like the amazon download page)?
Re: Official Morrissey Twitter account reactivated
Various twitter based news sites reporting on the tweet and he has gained 30000 followers in an hour.
It was played once by The Smiths but this is the first time Morrissey has performed it. I think it was on the leaked rehearsal setlist for the tour-that-wasnt-meant-to-be last year as well.

Hello. Testing, 1, 2, 3. Planet Earth, are you there? One can only hope..."
If that is really from the hand of Moz, this is an historic day.
Re: Article: "World Peace Is None Of Your Business" single sleeve; song download listed on Amazon UK
Agree that the production is great. Could have been a plodding MOR type thing but the different layers of keyboard/guitar/distorted bass make it feel like a hypnotic dream.

Think people need to chill out with the whole photoshop thing. It's not like he's had massive amounts of botox and a hair transplant to restore his quiff to 1987 levels, it's just a wee touch up...
Re: Article: Forthcoming Colbert Report details; Morrissey to be interviewed by Victo
Strange to be doing such similar songs. Should be good though. And looking forward to an actual TV interview!
I'd have to agree with that.
Sometimes Morrissey says silly things. Most of the time I agree with him. He's never uninteresting which is what keeps me coming back. Personally.
