Thank you. That was far too technical for me to do :)

Independent / James Moore: "Morrissey on tour is the last thing Britain needs right now" (July 23, 2022)

There is there really poorly written article's about Morrissey and then there is this. Dry your eyes for goodness sakes.

Andy Rourke bass part for "This Charming Man" - 56th best bass part of all time in BassPlayer Magazine

It's just been voted the 56th best bass part of all time in BassPlayer Magazine. 'The Smiths were a group at least a decade ahead of their time, doomed to be more read about than listened to during their active career, and only fully appreciated several years after the band members had gone...

A joint headline with Burning Spear would have been a fantastic idea....

What label will he sign with

Saddens me to say it but even the proposed title of the album will hinder him from ever getting a label. As with the Veronica single release there have been several times over the years when Morrissey has indicated a single release is imminent only for it to be pulled for reasons unknow. There...

"Maladjusted" is the most underrated Morrissey album

Its's a great album but it could have been even better. His quality control at that time was all over the place and confidence was at a low ebb. He had the songs at his disposal to make it a perfect album but buried some of them on B Sides etc.'This Is Not Your Country' , 'I Can Have Both' for...

    The Smiths A-Z: "Shakespeare's Sister"

At the time I thought it was the most lightweight release by The Smiths. Nothing has really changed for me. The version from Galstonbury is absolutely brilliant though. I loved that line-up and Little Barrie is an incredible musician. I would have loved for him to have stayed part of the band.

Bonhams: "Live In Session" - Property From The John Peel Archive catalogue available (Smiths items listed) Auction due June 14, 2022

I think that tape should have been offered or gifted to Morrissey or Marr by the Peel family. Not sold to the highest bidder

The Smiths live at the Nottingham Royal Centre on 21st Oct 1986, playing "How Soon Is Now?" and "Still Ill" - Soundsville International / YouTube

That's some of the best Clips I have seen of The Smith and from a really unique angle. I really think Craig Gannon was an excellent addition and it's a pity that line up never lasted.

    Morrissey’s Penguin Classic

I read it .It isn't good. In all honesty I would struggle to see how it could be described as anything other than poor.

    The Smiths A-Z: "I Won't Share You"

In all honesty this is my favourite song by The Smiths.

    The Smiths A-Z: "I Know It's Over"

This was always my favourite song by The Smiths. I changed, life changed but I'm pretty sure I will always return to this as the very best song The Smiths created.

The Smiths A-Z: "I Keep Mine Hidden"

I bought the 12" 'Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One Before' on import primarily because it had 'I Keep Mine Hidden' on it and I had never heard the track before. I still have it on beautiful red vinyl. I love it. It's bright and breezy and captures Morrissey in playful mood.
