Morrissey Central But Before You Go, Can You Look At The Truth - Fiona tweet, concert footage from 2011, UK doctors / vegan article (May 17, 2020)

‘Half sold shows in small venues’? I take it you were’t there!? I was at Leeds! It was incredible! Morrissey isn’t a brand...he’s an artist! He’s the real thing! He’s unique! IANADOAC is a masterpiece and it will, like all of his work, stand the test of time.

Northern Soul review of Dog on a Chain by Danny Moran (most detailed to date?)

I don’t think that’s how Morrissey sells...he’s not a one album wonder. There are many ears out there yet to discover this wonderful album...this will sell for many years to come as have all of his albums. His work has a long shelf life!

The Aquarian IANADOAC review by Vinny Cecolini

Phenomenal album...and with the passage of time it can only mature even more! It flows wonderfully and has a beautiful, fresh and unique sound! It feels whole...complete! Perfect!

    "I Am Not A Dog On A Chain" released (March 20, 2020)

People have speculated that this may be his last album. I’m saying that he’s obviously still got lots to give! Maybe it’s a Yorkshire phrase? ?

    "I Am Not A Dog On A Chain" released (March 20, 2020)

Just had my first play...! Wow! Pure Moz but new and reinvigorated! It feels wonderfully retro in parts yet fresh and groundbreaking in others. I’m 54 and can identify quite strongly with a number of tracks. Immediate stand out moments for me are I Am Not A Dog On A Chain, My Hurlung Days Are...

Morrissey Central "And In The End" (March 16, 2020)

I don’t think he’s saying quite that! I think he means in a broader sense for supporting him! I did go to Leeds however...and nothing would have stopped me! Also, I am a firm believer that ‘creative’ people view testing times such as this in a different way. They deal with it and process it...

London - The SSE Arena Wembley (Mar. 14, 2020) post-show

Why? The Smiths weren’t playing! Morrissey was! ?

    When should Morrissey retire?

I'm confident he will find another deal. I'm sure this album will be a success and none of us really know the numbers/profits from sales. There's a big world out there and he still generates new fans. My eldest son and step daughter are 15 and love his work. There are always a small army of new...

Official YouTube "Love Is On Its Way Out" lyric video (March 11, 2020)

It’s interesting how opinions on songs can change over time. I believe it’s the sign of great writing and a true artist. Morrissey doesn’t do instant gratification. Which is why he is still writing, performing and exploring! Like Nick Cave, Tom Waits...he is the art and has real depth. My gut...

Morrissey Central "Live at Leeds" (March 8, 2020)

There’s some truth in what you say. I’ve always seen gigs as my church. The main difference between gigs and a ‘regular’ place of worship being that we go to see/hear/follow a tangible being!

    Leeds - First Direct Arena (Mar. 6, 2020) post-show

For me this was a fabulous gig! I can understand the more ‘pedestrian’ gig goers being disappointed. As I left I heard a guy say to his partner “He’s not a crowd pleaser is he?” Well he’s not and he never has been. If you want that then I would suggest a Take That gig! I thought the setlist was...

    Leeds

It's a selection of primarily music based clips chosen by Morrissey. His influences etc. Always interesting and it has evolved over the years. Worth seeing. Seasoned Moz goers love it and we all look forward to the usual final clip which will signify the start of the gig!

    Leeds - First Direct Arena (Feb. 24, 2018) post-show

Security were very busy last night! They did a stirling job! Too many drunks down the front. At least 3 were ejected close to me. One of whom started hitting an innocent guy with glasses before throwing beer in his face! This was before Moz graced the stage! I'm also always amazed at how some...

"Pieces of Morrissey" by Matthew Jacobson - new book out Jan. 2017

Lots of respect for writing this book and getting it published! It's a huge effort and takes incredible dedication and determination. Ignore the Nay Sayers! It's easy to be a critic! "It takes strength to be gentle and kind! "Good luck!
