I bet you're fun at parties. It was a joke. I am one of the people I described.

LOL at a bunch of mid 40s to mid 50s men, plus a totally bizarre mix of newer 20s/30s traveling miscreants, rushing the stage for a 60 year old singer.

Let’s hope the core selection of “oldies” gets shaken up a bit. I’m all for new material and a few Moz/Smiths standards, but let’s hear some amazing underserved deep cuts as well!

What do you think of Knockabout World?

It’s actually grown on me quite a bit. 3.5/5.0. For me, it is reminiscent of “Staircase.....” in places.

    Rumor Alain Whyte to return

Why would he? Morrissey barely plays any Alain-era songs anymore. His sets mostly focus on 2014-Present, 1988-1990, Smiths, and covers. Not a high percentage of 1992-2009 songs in recent years. A few, of course, but it’s not the focus of the shows.

Morrissey to play at the Cruel World Festival (Carson, CA, May 2, 2020)

So, when is the NYC Apollo residency going to be formally announced? If he intends to tour his way there, very late May it would seem.

"Bobby, Don't You Think They Know?" release (Jan. 10, 2020); album sleeve revealed?

Was a bit scared to press play based on some of the comments, but its actually pretty good. Definitely an interesting musical bent for Morrissey. It does sound as though it was recorded on the same day as "Lover to Be".

The Smiths to reunite for 2020 tour promoted by Live Nation?

Would be interesting on many levels for sure - but I still put the odds at 20% or less. Would the audience miss the World Peace/Munich Air/If You Don’t Like Me/Bullfighter stretch?

    Do you support Morrissey?

Support in what sense? I support Morrissey when he releases good music and puts on good shows. Am I a blind loyalist who refuses to acknowledge when he says stupid things and shoots himself in the foot? When he releases sub-par songs? When he puts on a concert that drags in the middle due to...
