South America tour cancelled due to lack of funding - Morrissey statement at true-to-you.net

Re: TTY Update: If I by chance your eye offend you I haven't logged in for a while but felt the need to come and post on this. Just to say really that Morrissey and band should come back to the UK where selling tickets will be easier- particularly for a farewell tour- and logistical problems...

    Morrissey BBC4 24-06-11 Glastonbury

His shirts were smart, loved the red one, especially. I have never seen Morrissey and the band do Alma Matters before. Sounded much better than on the record, mainly, I tihnk, because the 'jangly' keyboard part was more audible and that seemed to give the song something extra.

    morrissey/smiths tshirts - post what you're wearing...

I've got one of those. I bought it outside after Morrissey's gig at G-mex a couple of years ago. I don't look as good in mine though! :)

    morrissey/smiths tshirts - post what you're wearing...

I can't be arsed to post a picture of it (and it's also in the wash now) but I had a black 'The Mozfather' effort on on saturday. It's basically a mock-up of The Godfather graphic with a silhouette of Morrissey's face, quiff and all, on the front and "The Mozfather" across the back with the...

The East End Morrissey tour Take Two - Sat 30th May

Re: The East End Morrissey tour 26th May 5pm Whitechapel tube station Great shout on Upton Park, but then I would say that! :thumb: There is a nice pub about 3 minutes walk from Plaistow tube called The Black Lion, which has West Ham boxing club next to it, so you can kill two birds...

Manchester Apollo 23rd May, How Did It Go?

I managed to get my hands on a pair of tickets and was standing just before halfway on the right-hand side. I'd had a few beers in that boozer next door and my recollection of some songs are only just coming back to me:squiffy: Me and girlfriend (her first Morrissey gig) got caught in the...

Idea for ticket selling threads in Marketplace...

In fairness to yourself, it's chaos on 'Marketplace' at the moment and there is no actual, formal queue for tickets. I just think that, in the interests of fairness at least, it needs sorting. Some people have been waiting ages. As I said, it works elsewhere, and there are clear rules on...

    Morrissey- a spent force chart-wise?

I think it's a good thing in some ways. Shows that the sort of moronic toilet that tops the charts, and the equivalent people who buy it, are a world away from Morrissey. It also shows that the mass media aren't arsed about promoting him, which is no bad thing either. I can't abide Radio 1...

Who would you like to write the music for the next album-assuming there is to be one?

Re: Who would you like to write the music for the next album-assuming there is to be I hope not, purely because he's gone a bit poncy. Mind you, Radiohead are from Oxford so I suppose there's a chance that they always have been.
