Yep. Suede took a similar approach with My Insatiable One, To The Birds, My Dark Star, The Living Dead, etc. The B-side was good or better than the A-side.
Nobody Loves Us is one of the finest Morrissey songs ever and although I love a good b-side to Dagenham Dave I could never understand why it wasn't on Southpaw. It is up there with I've Changed My Plea To Guilty and Jack The Ripper as the best Moz songs ever, all relegated to b-sides.
He didn't. He said exactly what he thinks people want to hear. I have no problem with anyone who disagrees with Moz. I have myself many times. That's perfectly fine. What isn't fine is some talentless twat starting off by vomiting up chunks of half-digested gunk that he thinks will protect him...
Another spineless jellyfish floats to the surface. Instead of starting off with 'We’re gonna have to separate the artist from the art here' he should have started with 'You have to realise I'm a chickenshit c$nt who lies awake all night sweating over how I look and if people like me.' And then...
What is Moz saying? I hope he's not too down and out with things. He always bounces back. He should self-release and do a tour to remind himself how many fans still flock to him. Errr and see about re-releasing Ringleader on vinyl (and Quarry, Southpaw, Maladjusted and Kill Uncle).
Nice words there. Maybe they parted amicably, or at least Pete seemed to. Moz needs stability on his team, and someone not afraid to say what's in Moz's best interests. Sounds like Pete may have been the closest he'll get to that.
I'm not trying to silence her or anyone. I'm just saying I'm sick of these people (who are quite happy to make money off Moz by turning his four course meals into microwave dinners with limp cover versions) feeling the need to distance themselves from him and his views. I don't give a toss what...
Petrified people sell their soul to disclaim Morrissey so as to avoid being asked questions they'd be tempted to answer honestly.
I'm so sick of cancel culture and am surprised it hasn't eaten itself by now. Perhaps it lacks the imagination for self-destruction. It may all end tomorrow or it...
I think you're 100% right. Moz needs a hand to get out of the hole he's in and what stronger hand than The Smiths. Personally I don't care if there is a Smiths reunion but Moz should have kept relations with Marr cordial over the years and should have realised his comments in a woke western...
