    Perth Cancelled

We can all see who the c*** here is.

Morrissey Central Updated chart history (December 3, 2023)

Not again. Songs that imply he has no interest in these type of things are contradicted by his actions.

    YATQ 20th Anniversary Special: Jan 26th - Kia Forum, CA / 27th, 2024 - Honda Center, CA (December 1, 2023)

After this 40 years of Morrissey tour I don't fully trust him to do what he either says or implies. He truly will lose a lot of us diehards if he doesn't play Quarry "in its entirety" on those January dates because announcing you're going to play something then not is giving people hope they...

Laughable. Noone has any idea what is going on, least of all Morrissey himself.

    YATQ 20th Anniversary Special: Jan 26th - Kia Forum, CA / 27th, 2024 - Honda Center, CA (December 1, 2023)

No, I would rather see people who actually know how to play their instruments, but it's not like it's going to happen anytime soon.

He surely has to do this or something similar in the UK. Otherwise, that's pretty naff. Not to mention unfair. Whether they actually happen or not is a different matter entirely, but I suspect they will as he cancels less gigs when they're in the US and UK.

    Perth Cancelled

Noone likes the (tour) manager, and he's made it very obvious he's a dipshit who couldn't manage to organise a piss up in a brewery. Edit: actually, that might be one of the FEW things he could organise, come to think of it.

I'm in the UK and would probably travel anywhere here to see him. I've never heard of Cruel Sea - will have to look them up. You're right about deciding whether to go or not; it depends on the amount of emotion attached to seeing him perform and the love you still have for him. Love that he...

    YATQ 20th Anniversary Special: Jan 26th - Kia Forum, CA / 27th, 2024 - Honda Center, CA (December 1, 2023)

I'm aware of that. It is still not representative of 40 years.

    YATQ 20th Anniversary Special: Jan 26th - Kia Forum, CA / 27th, 2024 - Honda Center, CA (December 1, 2023)

I'm still not convinced he'll do it. Said he was going to play different stuff from across his career for the 40 years tour and setlist remained the same.

    Never going to happen.

You do realise people live other places than just cities? I can't attend anything without a hotel room because I live rurally.

Alain Whyte and band mini Ireland tour (August 21, 2023)

I'm just awaiting some northern UK dates. Alain said that depending on how well these go down there will be a UK tour. Fingers crossed!

Radio Ulster: Give The Smiths Back To The Irish (November 26, 2023)

I'm counting the hours. It feels like it has been so damn long! It's going to be so odd seeing the photographs and videos coming in at midday my time.

Morrissey Central "Send me the pillow" (November 26, 2023)

    That's a very fair swap. It's a done deal.

Morrissey Central "Send me the pillow" (November 26, 2023)

I would graciously give up mine, but I would need some type of remuneration.

Morrissey Central Morrissey cover star & influence Terry Venables dies (November 26, 2023)

Rest in peace, Terry. An inspirational figure to so many.

Factory International: "A night with The Johnny Marr Orchestra" (on December 7-8, 2023)

Yeh, there are still tickets for Thursday, so I'm going to assume it's because people want to drink without work the next morning. I don't drink due to meds, so that doesn't matter to me. The price of hotels in walking distance went through the roof recently. Glad I paid for mine months ago...
