Stephen Street on Morrissey (Mojo 327, February 2021)

Street is obviously right about Viva - it was butchered. Such a shame - it will always be the Moz album I have most fondness for. And the album that contains the quintessential and best Moz single - Suedehead. For the rest, Moz clearly has interpersonal issues. Shock. I've always thought that...

Morrissey Central "WITH A CAT LIKE THAT ALWAYS ON YOUR BACK WHAT CAN YOU LOSE ?" (November 30, 2020)

Happy cats? And so the UK celebrates approval of a vaccine that will prevent about 95% of people dying from coronavirus - oh wait, didn't Mother Nature do that already for 99% of people, and for free?

Morrissey Central "THE SUN WILL SHINE TOMORROW" (November 28, 2020)

Moz 'died' when he expressed opinions that don't chime with your world view? How small minded of you.

We will have to wait and see if the government allows the sun to shine tomorrow...

Morrissey Central "UNTO EARTH I" (November 25, 2020)

True, although Phranc mentioned not being 'British' so I was thinking more about nationality to be honest. No one in the Republic would use the term 'British Isles'. It's a controversial topic. So controversial it even has its own page on Wikipedia...

Morrissey Central "UNTO EARTH I" (November 25, 2020)

That was taken for granted - but the term 'British' goes no further than that border designed by the British Empire to try to ensure a Protestant majority in the north for perpetuity. But even Protestants in Northern Ireland cheer when England lose at football.

Morrissey Central "UNTO EARTH I" (November 25, 2020)

It was only the English who cried. Every one in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland cheered when Maradona scored. Old rivalries run deep in the British Isles.

It was a moment of sheer genius. I think it needs to be watched with the commentary of his home country to fully appreciate what he meant to South America.

Morrissey Central "AND THE SOUL GOES OVER …" (October 31, 2020)

The performing arts are in the wasteland. Very sad.

Was with you up to the point where you turn on Mr Connery. Judge not - especially when the man has just died. But totally agree with your comments on the Quran.

Everything is open to interpretation. Including what Morrissey says in an interview. Which I'm sure you and Skinny are waiting to pore over to fill your empty little lives.

Just indulging in a bit of light sarcasm on a Sunday morning. Need to do something to cheer myself up - another lockdown on the way on Thursday. Terrible.

The translation seems pretty clear. Sounds exactly like what Sean was saying. A light slap as a last resort. Clearly Skinny relies on you to rush to his defence.

Oh yes it is. Pantomime season is here early. Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allah has given the one more strength than the other, and because they support them from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient, and guard in absence what Allah...

Wife beating is sanctioned in the Quran. Total islamophobia on your part. You big racist.
