Very cool question! Morrissey and Smiths were about 30% of what I listened to this year. That's pretty much the standard for me.
Regarding Morrissey specifically, a big share was his 2023 performances on Youtube, which have been great overall. I've logged a ton of hours with those. Was...
:D
1st Porno record - completely amazing! I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who is reading this right now. It's called Porno For Pyros, and you'll be singing along. Groovy, funky, outstanding (and innovative) guitars and bass, and Perry was sharp. That lineup was incredible. The second (and...
His favorite influences are pretty great - Jane's Addiction, Smiths/Moz and Peter Gabriel.
Though, in my opinion, Porno For Pyros was better than Jane's, song for song.
I took my sons to a minor league ice hockey game recently, and they played Rock and Roll Part 2. The artist behind that track is a heinous criminal but it's still a good sports anthem.
I wonder how many people in that arena knew about all of Gary Glitter's troubles or even thought about him...

Yes, but she may just have a hairline fracture, or has broken a toe. To fully heal, you are absolutely right. To simply walk with much less pain (even still wearing one of those air-casts), probably 4-6 weeks if she takes care of it. That's what I meant, my friend :D
I wonder if it was a rental car she had driven. There's definitely reckless people in the world.
It's a shame about her injury, but she's got it all booted up so hopefully in 4 weeks or so she'll be feeling much better.
BTW...I checked the setlist from the 10/23 show in Los Angeles and they played 'Moya' from Southern Death Cult but no others. The Cult already has played Moya as an encore and in the actual set (during their early years).
I would LOVE to hear them play 'Today' or 'The Girl' by SDC. 'Moya' is...
YES!!!! Death Cult was terrific!!! So was Southern Death Cult (no Billy). That would be awesome if they brought in Buzz, Barry or Aki (from SDC) on stage for a song or two. This is seriously the best news I heard all day! Thanks for posting this :D
