Morrissey Central "BEAM OF LIGHT." (May 19, 2023)

Agreed, people were obviously going to be looking to see what / if Morrissey said anything after everything that’s passed between the band members, I’m just really glad that Morrissey has ignored all the noise and just given his full respects to Andy Rourke and how they had combined to make The...

Morrissey Central "New keyboard player." (May 6, 2023)

Interesting turn of events, on the face of it, not ideal to have 2 new members to integrate into a band who were playing so well, fantastic live Morrissey shows earlier this year / end of 22. Things change , (as they often do with Morrissey!) so now two female musicians in the band , what that...

Morrissey Central “NOTICEBOARD UK” - 6 UK dates & 2 Dublin dates (April 3, 2023)

    Q. Will a U.K. ticketmaster account be able to buy the Dublin tickets? Or best to set up a separate ticketmaster.ie account? The U.K. site does list / connect to the Dublin listings , I was thinking it may automatically recognise account if click through

    Antwerp - Stadsschouwburg Theatre (March 15, 2023) post-show

There are a lot of expensive restaurants! I’m not much of a foodie / so not my thing the Michelin *s but seemed to be plenty of food options for different budgets Antwerp’s a city I certainly wouldn’t be against a second visit, I sadly never had time to check out the open air sculpture park at...

Morrissey Central "Tours" (March 26, 2023)

Thinking about it some more Regarding the Leeds show , Ive actually never seen a Morrissey show outdoors before , I’d written off a Leeds trip as went the last time to the arena show / was at the pop up shop, but maybe the somewhat rarity of him playing outdoors in U.K. may make me reconsider...

The Suede thread for Suede things

Fortunate to see Suede twice on this tour, been fantastic Don’t get the credit they deserve , should be playing much bigger venues easily (although the selfish part of me enjoys seeing them up close I ended up buying the signed Autofiction lp they were selling at the Merch stand, £35 take note...

Is Coronavirus as serious as they say?

We are going a bit off tangent now with covid history but The vaccines were hugely important and saved millions of lives world wide There is an argument that lockdowns applying to all , were too broad and that it should’ve only been applicable to those with underlying health issues / elderly ...

But The music needs to be heard & people to be aware of it Without the publicity machine (marketing , good press , then your just playing to the devoted few, the general public unaware of what they are missing

Suede made a fantastic record (autofiction) which made numerous best of lists last year and are still excellent live band, Brett Anderson being a superb showman / front person Suede deserve the recognition they are getting. It does also do them no harm that they’ve turned up to do live...

It wasn’t a criticism, I get his age and that things do wind down, (I still say the crowd should be constantly energised though) It was merely a mention that when he did get physically / emotionally carried away in Ireland he took a tumble , (so why risk it, no real need too with the majority...

    London - Eventim Apollo (March 19, 2023) post-show

He did trip over the monitor / fall on his arse in Ireland , so maybe did give himself a shock (& a laugh at himself for stumbling) The physicality of his performance has certainly been more controlled, but then so have the crowd. the set list / song styling also plays to a certain tempo, As...

Trinity was the name of the other American girl I was thinking of, come to think of it, didn’t see her at any of these shows or the shows at end of last year The others are names I kinda recognise , but couldn’t put to the correct face , probably know them to see them. It’s all very , names /...

Yes I do agree, Morrissey has form for it, I just thought with Julia no longer on the scene we’d perhaps have moved on from namecbecks. all animals are equal but some are more equal than others…:-)lol
