NME: "Iggy Pop: “I assumed things would quiet down once I turned 65. That hasn’t been the case”" - Morrissey mentions (December 2, 2022)

Seems to be confirmed indirectly that Iggy’s featuring on “Ha Ha Harlem”. He describes the bassline: “There was a lot of mystique to the track. I loved the track it had a lot of life to it. There was something really unusual he’d done with the bassline,” Pop added of the Morrissey song. “With...

Rebels Without Applause released as a single track - initially on some region's YT, now to buy & stream (November 24, 2022)

The fact that the central IG post doesn't mention any of the instant grats from Dog - instead saying that this is the first single since "It's Over" - makes me think that there's hope for a proper physical release. Sidenote, it seems pertinent that Britain is mentioned by name in the story -...

I hope there’s going to be more promotion in the coming days for the single. Without this site and a few other select sources, I wouldn’t have know it had dropped at all.

If anyone wants a different single cover… 😉 (made by me). Song sounds great, especially the instrumentation. Looking forward to seeing why it was released in the first place, though, considering all the drama in the last few weeks….

    Strange/unexpected Moz references?

Yes, when I first saw them linked again I was hoping for an upgrade. I should really learn to temper my expectations when it comes to Sam & co. 🙃

    Strange/unexpected Moz references?

That teaser was released early this year iirc. It was for the audio of the gig which was released on Yt in March. Still don’t understand this constant linking. Sam reliving past glories perhaps? 😉

    Strange/unexpected Moz references?

For some reason, the so-called “lost demos” from last year have been re-linked on Morrissey Central’s IG stories a few minutes ago. Edit: Blue Dreamers Eyes video also linked now.
