Morrissey Central "Bonfire of teenagers" (February 7, 2024)

While we have email evidence of how the Miley situation went down, it doesn't explain why Rebels still came out after the album looked like it'd been shelved.

Morrissey Central "KICK ‘EM WHEN THEY FALL DOWN" (February 17, 2024)

We'll never know what the plans were for promotion. For Low in High School he was on TV, Spent the Day was getting airplay, the BBC session and so on. Far better promotion than World Peace had. We actually had music videos and singles. He was on TV, Jools, Graham Norton etc. And then he went...

Morrissey Central "KICK ‘EM WHEN THEY FALL DOWN" (February 17, 2024)

It will go top ten as per usual, but be heavily front loaded sales wise and drop out of the top 40 the next week. Or top 100. This is what happens with older artists who's sales are mostly pre orders and aren't supported by radio hits. Shame as Veronica should be on constant repeat on bbc6...

Morrissey is now being managed by Pete Galli of Red Light Management (February 12, 2024)

Such a shame how the BMG era came to an end, a miracle in hindsight that we got 3 albums and a lot of singles out of it. How did he last that long with them while publicly critisising them, California Son onwards. Or maybe because it was Ettiene via BMG? If he'd held on to that deal just a...

UK Rock'N'Roll Magazine issue 238: Boz Boorer interview (February 19, 2024)

Boz unofficially retired, to step back and focus on the record shop and his family. The last chat I remember he said ironically he's busier than ever now jetting back and forth to Portugal and Australia and has been playing and recording. There was no falling out.

Morrissey Central "Bonfire of teenagers" (February 7, 2024)

I I honestly think this may be his best album. Every track has a great theme, from what we've heard so far which is most of it. There's some real poppy catchy stuff here which has a Arsenal vibe. The emotional stuff is really heartfelt and the end of Oblivion is one of the most horribly raw...

I'm fairly sure capitol will never touch him again after the last year...

Morrissey Central "Bonfire of teenagers" (February 7, 2024)

This could simply be another "liberate Bonfire" post. I'm trying to not get excited. Even if he has bought it back it still needs to be picked up by another label. Without Music has been out there for a year but no one wants it, so what chance does Bonfire have?

Best song on Without Music the World Dies so far

Unlikely as they worked on the album and cowrote the tracks. They'd have left then surely. And Gustavo has stuck through far worse era's.

    Rebels Without Applause single

Haha I got excited thinking there was a new single at first!

    Rebels Without Applause single

    Slightly misleading topic title!

    Strange/unexpected Moz references?

It's all so predictable. The play or mention of a song by Moz you like followed by the comment to stop you getting cancelled.

Morrissey Central "NEW GUITARIST" (April 13, 2023)

From Fiona's twitter it looks like it's personal circumstances for which he left, he's on good terms with Moz still.

Fiona Dodwell: In Conversation With Morrissey - full interview (April 3, 2023)

I'm really not sure what the UK charts are even based on now. Which begs the question why he is so obsessed with them when he's admitted they mean nothing.
