Morrissey Central "MANCHESTER, TODAY" (June 21, 2022)

That's interesting (and slightly sad) about the S&G. Does it still occur? Yet when Blossoms and Rick Astley did a night of Smiths songs it sold out (admittedly part-novelty value) and Smiths tribute bands regularly attain nearly sold-out venues, albeit in smaller capacity venues. For info I'm...

Morrissey Central "Morrissey in the UK" - UK tour details (June 9, 2022)

I'd be tempted to go if it's Glasgow Barrowlands.....

Nation Cymru: "This Charming Man: Welsh football boss reveals his love of The Smiths" (May 26, 2022)

If this man is ultimately responsible for this then Morrissey should give him a call forthwith:

Song credits for "Rebels without applause", "Diana Dors"

I saw this post on Lynn's FB and it answered my curiousity tbh

San Luis Obispo, CA - Fremont Theater (May 12, 2022) post-show

7 He did but the setlists were very ROTT heavy. Which is an album I certainly liked at the time but rarely listen to now.

Morrissey Central "SAN LUIS OBISPO" (May 13, 2022)

Definitely.... and then following with Disappointed at one gig and Billy Budd at the next. Well it doesn't take a genius to know who he's addressing. EVEN AFTER ALL THESE YEARS! In fact the setlists from the two nights generally seems very personal. And all the better for it imo. I mean the...

Johnny Marr - Fever Dreams Pts 1-4 discussion/reviews

Hope you enjoy it. As one of Manchester's favourite sons I imagine it will be a fantastic show. The Electronic songs are immense. I've started to think Morrissey and Marr actually respond better to playing bigger venues as they can see how far and wide their earlier material is so influential...

Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr feels 'let off the leash' to write what songs he likes - Sky News (April 24, 2022)

I I went to the Blondie show in Cardiff last night. Johnny Marr was amazing - so much better than at the 6Music Festival.

Johnny Marr - Fever Dreams Pts 1-4 discussion/reviews

Ok fresh out of the gig. I don't do Twitter, Reddit or Onlyfans Frr a venue I've been to countless times over the last 30 or so years it was such a sanitised experience and full of people who wanted to be seen to be there, rather than genuine music fans. The sound was the best I've ever heard...

Johnny Marr - Fever Dreams Pts 1-4 discussion/reviews

Actually c***ybollox I got the tickets off Twickets - the ethical fan-to-fan secondary sales site. I'm sure you'll be listening whilst wanking.over midget porn (probably photos of Johnny Marr) in your mam"s basement. Tootle-pip nobchops

Johnny Marr - Fever Dreams Pts 1-4 discussion/reviews

Just managed to get tickets for tonight's sold out 6Music Festival Johnny Marr, Self Esteem and Wet Leg gig. I'm really looking forward to it, particularly as I've been isolating due to COVID all week (I'm clear now for 2 days running). So I'll be sure to report back to the lovers and the loathers.

Paddy Considine interview in The Independent, mentions Morrissey

Dead Man's Shoes is one of the great British films and his performance helps elevate it above mere revenge Brit social realism fodder. Definitely up there with the better actors in the UK today and seems to be a well-grounded individual.

Pete Doherty - The Fantasy Life Of Poetry & Crime

    Strange/unexpected Moz references?

My first time out of the country in 2 years. Seems like Morrissey has opened up a bar in Málaga, the southern most city in Europe (or so they say)
