Received this info: "the Best Of debuted with only 2,420 copies sold first week, failing to reach the Billboard 200 album chart at all."

I saw a tv show from the early 1980's about journalism. Inside the show was a discussion about how to publish books. A very young Morrissey talked about a book he was writing on a phenomenal new band called New York Dolls. He also talked about one he was writing about girl groups. The show was cable access, and looks like it was made for a school from Boston or New York. I wasn't able to tape it, but its a neat artifact!

This is Very brief, but I don't recall it being mentioned, and unfortunately very vague. It is from the Oct 4 USA Today. Maybe there's not a lot of System of a Down fans on this website.

In the article about System/Down:

Malakian and his bandmates — keyboardist/vocalist Serj Tankian, bassist Shavo Odadjian and drummer John Dolmayan — were shaped by Jane's Addiction, Pink Floyd, The Smiths and Slayer, as well as jazz, world-beat and rap stylings that lend distinction to their critically and commercially accepted brand of rock-metal.

The site has been up and down constantly the last several days due to some technical problems with the internet connection. I'm supposed to receive a new modem today and hopefully that fixes it. If problems continue I will definitely move the server to a hosting facility which has guaranteed uptime, something that I plan to do eventually.
