"The CD Singles '91-'95" is released this week in the UK and also France. Antoine writes: I just get my boxset. Nothing special except that the "Hold On To Your Friends" CD has the same package as the original 12" and 7" limited edition (scan from Antoine). That's very nice.

Cristophe writes: Here's an e-card I've received by mail. It seems EMI France takes into account the importance of the internet in their communication... I really like the type used for the lyrics transcription.

I know its trivial, but I was watching the news coverage here in New York like I'm sure everyone else around the world is. I was flipping around the channels, and I came across a montage of the horrific footage from New York City with "This Is Not Your Country" by Morrissey playing over the montage. Specifically, they were playing the part "and I'm scared...in my own country". This was right before they broke for commercial. It was a very powerful combination of imagery and sound. It was truly chilling. I believe it was ABC News.

I heard the MOZ man attended Madonna's Drowned World Tour in Los Angeles CA, on September 14, 2001. My friend said he took pictures of him. I can't wait to see these pictures! I will keep you informed.

According to a news posting on neworderonline.com, the New Order/Morrissey tour rumor is not true, as far as the tour manager is aware. The person reporting apparently spoke to New Order's tour manager and so far nothing is in the works. To quote: "Enquired about this Moz/USA thing and drew a blank. The only excursion being mooted at present is a possible Australia / New Zealand tour early next year..." (for New Order). Well, it was fun while it lasted!
