After listening to the awful semi-star-studded "Smiths Is Dead" CD, I've come to the conclusion that The Smiths are near impossible to cover sucessfully. I think it's because Moz's vocal melodies so unique that when others try to sing them, the result is so hopelessly unnatural...
BY THE WAY, I JUST BOUGHT THIS CD AT THE WHEREHOUSE AND ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT IT SUCKS 'GREASETEA'S' ASS!!! GREASETEA, I'M ONLY SAYING THAT CUZ I LOVE YOUR POSTS. IN ALL SERIOUSNESS, DO NOT BUY THIS AS IT DOES NOT EVEN SOUND REMOTELY CLOSE TO THE ORIGINALS. IT SOUNDS LIKE A BUNCH OF OVER-PRODUCED TECHNO INSTRUMENTS.
