Design on the shirt he's worn that reads "Morrissey" on the front

At some of the shows, Moz has worn a t-shirt near the end that has his name across the front. the shirt is dark in color (black?) with his name in what I believe to be white lettering. The question is this. There was a small portion of the lettering that had a red symbold or design of some nature. I couldn't make it out. Can someone please tell me what the red part was a picture of (if it was of anything)? Thanks!

it's a star. this is a bootleg shirt that was purchased for him in Milan outside of the venue.
