How 'bout a little variety in the sets??

Why doesn't Morrissey play a more varied set from night ot night? I can't imagine, if I were in his shoes, perfroming the same 16 or 18 songs every single night. It must get so boring. I thought I heard that they were soundchecking some different material to debut (such as "Certain People I Know" "Hated For Loving" "This Charming Man" and "Satan Rejected My Soul") Does anybody have any ideas? I know that halfway through the '97 Malajusted Tour, he added a handful of different tunes into the repitoire..... if I was in London and I went to go see all four shows (which I would of..) I'd probbaly be a little disappointed.. Speaking of disappointed, how 'bout that tune??

I guess Moz feels that you shouldn't mess with a good thing. But I do agree that it should change a little if he's playing the same venue... I do like the set though.

I agree that if I were to see him live 4 nights in a row, I would probably want to hear some different songs. Just think of how the girls who are following him through the entire tour feel! They run the Morrissey Tour - 1999 Oye Esteban! website and they've seen virtually every show. I am however, pleased with the current set list and can't wait to hear it in Ventura! If one change could be made, I would loooove to hear 'this charming man' played live. I would probably faint! I'm really glad he's playing such a varied set and not promoting any particular album right now. He's promoting himself basically, and thats the best time to see him live.

He'll probably throw in these soundchecked songs when he returns to USA after the European tour. I'm quite jealous, 'cause all of the tunes mentioned are favorites of mine.

he certainly wants to see how many fans he has.

singing the same setlist the probability of someone to go to more than one show is minor.

Waahh. How terrible for them. They only get to hang out with the band, interview the members for their website, and travel all over Europe without a care for a job, family, or school. God what torture for them to sit through the 20th playing of "Hairdresser on Fire."

I lay awake and cry for them nightly.

office friendly tells you to move along, nothing to see here, folks

Actually, I believe MorrisseyTour.com is an unofficial site.

Your right, it is an unofficial site, but a great one nontheless. And no, I do not feel sorry for those girls one second. I envy them greatly. I was just saying that they must love it when there is even the slightest change in the setlist or stage banter. I cannot wait until Ventura!!!!! LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA (partial lyrics to Suede's, the Beautiful Ones)

Good night and thank you!
