Going to Ventura?

Anyone going to the Ventura theater to see Moz? I cannot believe I'm actually going to see him in such an intimate setting. This venue only holds 1000 people. Originally I heard 850 people, but I think they make a little more room for bigger acts. I think this will really be a special show. If it has not sold out already, I'm sure it will soon. See ya there!!

does anyone here know if they use metal detectors at the door for the palladium shows? i'm hoping to sneak in a recorder.

Re: palladium at the door

i don't think so... but where would you hide it?? i'm thinking of taking both a recorder AND a camera.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no

They usually have the hand held ones at the door, but probably not for this show. they do pat you down like mad though. We'll know its you if your walking funny! Get the vaseline ready I guess.

It can be done! I managed to sneak both my camera and my digital video camera into the Tempe and Santa Barbara shows in October! I've never been to the Palladium so?
The House of Blues in the one I am worried about...does anybody have any insight on HOB security and being able to get past the doors with electronics???

I love that Belle & Sebastian photo... They're going to be on a really good sound track for the movie High Fidelity starring John Cusack...
