  1. It's Poetry Darlings!!

so Monday was a hard day for me  I don't know about you all :o but that tends to make me drink :squiffy: which sometimes leads to drunken writing I shall now post from my OL journal  I'd like some TB with my MG I empty my desire into the full faced sky But the moon, she hangs low and stares back at me Desperate to see her again I search the sky for some glimmer of her reflection For just one fleeting instance it is there! Then the despair returns with the...

  3. Grammy Review

The Grammy Awards were on Sunday night, (2.14.11). I generally don't watch them, but this year, I was mildly curious. The show was rehaulded a few years back to focus primarily on performances and less on the Best-Animal-or-Vegetable-Featured-on-a-Long-Playing-Movie-Soundtrack type presentations that no one ever cared about or ever will. A gaggle of divas opened up with a nice tribute to Aretha Franklin. It was almost pleasant just to watch performances even though I didn't care for most...
  4. Today the count is

    2,326 days :tears:
  5. Woah

Oh so I've not been on here in forevah. Loving the blog option. Hmmm a website dedicated to Moz and the ability to blog away. Sounds good to me. :) So, I'm going to Europe next month. France. I'm thinking about taking ze train over to Manchester. I've been to the UK 1x, but I didn't go to the Lads Club. I'm thinking......Pilgrimage to the land of all things Moz? Maybe...... Maybe. Perhaps!
  6. To be fair...

He really wasn't a rebel - just an incredible and interesting person. Well, he was more than that, too. He was a great artist, and I think, had he lived, he'd have a fascinating line of work behind him. He was rare in that he could work with all forms of art and still produce and deliver...and bedazzle us - whether it was in front of the camera, behind the camera, or even on canvas. His life was short, but his legacy will last forever. Happy 80th Birthday, James Dean. (I can't take...
  7. James Franco ~ Renaissance Man

Some of us are so thick with talent, it's almost impossible to spread ourselves too thin. We are gifted with an endless supply of unbridled ability and a drive that keeps us moving fast forward. In the entertainment world, Justin Timberlake and Beyonce Knowles come to mind. Both are triple—maybe quadrupole—threats. They sing, dance, act, and are generally nice, polite, and likable people. Unfortunately, most of us aren't the caretakers of such gifts—myself included. I am not blessed with any...
  8. Revisionism

Well that's just charming. I don't look at the site for ten days, I come back and suddenly my identity has been stolen and ten years of glorious blog...I mean, journal...writing has been erased. It was my tenth anniversary this year. And now ten years of my life are gone. Just like that. I'm sure there's an episode of Red Dwarf - back in the day I'd have given you the episode title and series number, but I appear to be losing my touch - where something happens (obviously) and...
  9. This is a MUCH better example!

I LOVE the dancing in this!
  10. It's Oscar Time Again!

I don't know why I love the Academy Awards so much. Maybe it is because I really love movies. And this time of year is like Christmas for film buffs. We are flooded with a wide selection of great films. And there is this feeling--a sense of urgency and obligation to see them all. It's as if we have no right to express a preference unless we have actually seen all the films nominated. There is probably no one--not even a top film critic--who can claim to have done so. Mostly because it is an...
  11. Wow...

This is nice. We can do so much with our journals...er, I mean blogs...now! Yay! I guess I should have joined the forums when I joined Morrissey-solo 10 or 11 years ago, but the forum just always seemed so chaotic back in those days. And, my journal...well, I've been writing in it since Davidt introduced them to the site ages ago. I wonder how many entries I'd have by now - if I hadn't deleted so many of them. I should have printed them out  Or maybe not... Not...
