  2. In one spirit meet and mingle -

Why not I with thine? And the sunlight clasps the earth, And the moonbeams kiss the sea - What are all these kissings worth If thou kiss not me? Percy Bysshe Shelley, lines from Love's Philosophy Painting: Rene Magritte

  4. First person is the (l)on(e)ly person

Don't you just hate wanting to belong? It sickens me to the point I never admit it anywhere. Well, except here. In a strange way, the fact that strangers will get here by mistake or intention gives me great joy. I am a stereotype. I am a loner, I feel as misunderstood as a teenager and I both hate and love myself, which sickens me even more than wanting to belong. How does one belong to a group of loners? Loners are alone, if they are not alone they are hypocrites. I decided to write this...
  5. 7 years & 2 weeks of music, oh and yes, I'm drunk!

so yeah, this is what music I started to listening "via last fm" 11 months after my divorce and shortly after moving to SF surprised to see that much Kylie and Madonna, on the other hand I noticed my previous adoration for for: "Tommy & Namie" endures even though I have not downloaded them to this comp, unlike Hikki, who I will always worship :blushing: not represented is "Rihanna" who I mainy watch videos for :horny:, also then there is songs wow, "Maps" remains the song I most...
  6. Food Swap

I'm craving cabbage. It has been three days since my last fix. What a strange thing to be addicted to, right? At least it is healthy. So anyhow, I'm sitting here wishing I had a big head to fry up for lunch. I could go to the market and buy one. Too bad I just couldn't trade a can of pinto beans or other pantry item I don't really want or need for it. This gave me an idea. Would there be a community interest in a food/service swap of sorts in my area? No money would be exchanged. Food...
  7. Naked Beach

This post is inspired by No1uno's latest blog entry. He visited Baker Beach in San Francisco over the weekend. I too have been to Baker Beach. Back when I went clothes were optional. I opted to sunbathe naked as did my ex husband (not pictured). But as you can see from these pics, some did not. In fact, they were fully clothed, seemingly not there to catch the rays but rather to enjoy the fleshy views. Our images are quite different. Mine were taken with an old school camera; No1uno's...

  9. Hot Air Cold Feet

Somewhere in all the chatter, I hear another declare, "If so and so gets elected, I'm moving to Canada." My knee-jerk reaction to this is, "Don't let the door hit you on the ass on your way out." But then, I pause and regroup and respond more eloquently: "Why Canada? I mean seriously, Why Canada?" Is Canada the promised land; or is it simply the nation of choice due to its close geographical distance to the US? If Canada were located in Europe, would these jaded, expat wannabes still...
  10. Vegan Challenge

  11. Morrissey's Natal Chart

Click on this ^^^^^^ to see it properly. I can't actually believe I haven't done this before now! I don't read horoscopes or think there is anything more to it than how we may potentially be signed at birth, in the way of personality and disposition. If the moon can affect the water on the earth, then why wouldn't it make sense for other gravitational bodies (planets) to influence humans? Anyway, here it is, for whatever it is worth. If you'd like to see your own chart, pm me. I...
  12. Teatro MOZ, the world's first Morrissey-themed theater festival (LA, Nov. 13, 2014)

John sends the link: Teatro MOZ, the World's First Morrissey Theater Festival - LA Weekly blogs By John Ochoa Excerpt: A trio of young Latino musicians is playing on the floor of a rehearsal room in East Los Angeles. A familiar melody fills the tiny room as Natalie Camunas begins to croon the lyrics to Morrissey's 1988 classic "Suedehead." Backed by Andres Solorzano on acoustic guitar and Cesar Solorzano, not related, on the miniscule, guitarlike charango, this rendition twangs...
  13. Morrissey - O2 Arena, London, 29 November 2014: Kitty's Post-Show Ruminations

The last time I saw Morrissey live was on the 2011 tour (Hop Farm Festival & Brixton) as my finances have not allowed me to indulge my passion quite as fanatically as I would have liked to during 2012 and 2013, so I was greatly looking forward to this gig. Recently my life has involved mainly working 12-hour night shifts in a contact centre providing Out of Hours Customer Service for two London councils. I mention this, not because it is greatly interesting, but because it has left me...
  14. Brutally Honest

Bad personality traits/characteristics: stupidity, ineptness, laziness, incompetence, unresourcefulness. Which traits stand out in this exchange between myself and a PoF guy? So, a few days ago, I receive this message from a guy who lives a few hours south of me—outside of Phoenix: Hi where is Sedona az I don't reply because he has exhibited these traits: ineptness, incompetence, laziness, and unresourcefulness. Today, I get another message from him: You don't like me none?? My reply...
