Great read-thanks. The 'water under the bridge' comment, and how he doesn't keep up with Morrissey's solo career, made me a little sad, though. There seemed to be a bit of wistfulness in this interview.

Wright stuff with Tim Samuels

Just watching the Matthew Wright show , Tim Samuels mentioned his first ever interview with Morrissey for his school paper. Nice photo of Samuels in a Meat is murder T-shirt and Moz smiling. He also said he was due to interview Moz for the culture show, but after Googling Samuels and discovering he was no longer a veggie he cancelled.

Here's the original 1989 interview and photos :)

Rufus Wainwright on Morrissey

There is an interview with Rufus Wainwright on German television in which he shortly refers to Morrissey. I asked him whether it is possible to be mature and a pop artist at the same time. The answer is at 06:00.

So, his stance on Morrissey is that he is a "mature pop artist with very adult values who also is nuts."
