Really? (Score:0)
wrong song. (Score:0)
So damn strong. So aggressive. So well executed.
BigMouth isn't really in the running, considering you have Vicar, Rusholme, and Panic ahead of it.
I know because I know everything.

Sadly Morrissey played it never in his solo gigs,
as 'what she said'or 'nowhere fast'
I think it's a fair choice, it's difficult to
name a live track which still stands time, bigmouth does, ii's today still a song which
he can play live and get the roof of the veneu
the other songs, I think their are a bit too many
'old'tracks
you know I don't agree with the nmbr 1
[ I miss a live track from Pearl Jam's TEN
album, 'black' would suit well]
but me fave would be ' tomorrow started' 1984 Veronica Rocknight [the Netherlands] Talk Talk
[ if The Smiths or Morrissey were out of voting]

morrissey is great live (Score:0)
There are many great live tracks to choose from moz catalog wonder why they chose this one.(unless they were simply looking for a smith's song) should have selected any song from Kill Uncle instead. "Sing your life" was much better live.

my 2 cents (Score:1)
1) the intro in the rank version really hypes the listener up, first the solo rythmn guitar playing that very familiar chord progression, then the kick of the drum causing anticipation and getting the listener anxiously waiting for the song to begin, and finally the rest of the band jumping in and moz staring his vocals. the intro alone is evident enough to show how powerful enoughthis version is.
2) moz'z vocals and growling aren't as reserved as in the studio version and you can actually hear passion and agressin in moz's voice in the rank verion (as in a lot of rank live songs i.e. still ill 'fart sound')
3)marrs' solo is crisp and clean; the studio solo is hardcore and amazing in itself, however, imagine seeing and hearing the exact same solo live, a fraction of a sec faster and also a tad bit more passionate. just incredible.
other songs on the rank album are incredible personally i love the rank version of 'ask'(which sadly doesn't get enough attention) a little more than the well known studio version. but bigmouths live versions' overall presentation and overall sound portrays the agression, passion and angst that the song denotes. the studio version is catchy but the rank version you can actually feel. but thats my 2cents
