  • Pretty predictable for long-time fans. I only share one with Moz and it’s the only American group on my top 13 list...in alphabetical order...

    The Beatles - Abbey Road
    Belle & Sebastian – Tigermilk
British Sea Power – The Decline of BSP
    The Clash - London Calling
David Bowie – The Rise And Fall of Ziggy...
    Gene - Olympian
    Libertines - Up The Bracket
    Morrissey - Your Arsenal
    Pulp His - ‘N’ Hers
The Smiths - The Queen Is Dead
Smoking Popes – Born To Quit
    Suede – Coming Up
    Super Furry Animals – Radiator

Kind of boring, I know, but it's what I like.

  • Hello! For my own listenage I have made a Spotify playlist of these albums, which I though I would share. The only exception from Moz's list is the Jobriath one, which isn't on Spotify - I have added the only LP they list instead. Also, there are one or two 'Special Edition' version tracks from a couple of the albums instead of the original tracklistings.

  • Nice choice of albums - surprised (and delighted) by White Light/White Heat being on Moz's list which is one of my fave VU albums, especially for Sister Ray which has got to be one of the most amazing tracks ever recorded in modern music. I do have to say though, I really cannot understand Moz's championing of Jobriath - I really don't see it. A tragic Ziggy Stardust figure perhaps, but musically just doesn't do it for me.

  • Not scanned (Score:1, Informative)

The "scanning" thing is a joke. There is no way Morrissey scanned the images for a few reasons.

Firstly, an LP does not fit on an average sized A4 or A4 scanner and to get a full scan you would have to do it in sections and paste together as a new jpeg.

But mainly this is an obvious joke because if these were Morrissey's actual copies of the Ramones LP, of Jobriath, of the Dolls etc then they would have marks, creases, possibly price tag gun glue marks or even stickers left on. These images are new and clean and taken off the internet and do not represent the actual pieces of vinyl in his record collection.

So all in all do not take the scanning issue seriously as somebody, Morrissey or the Quitus?, is winding us up.
