Nothing too special, but at the BMX Street finals at the Gravity Games this year, Dave Osato chose "This Charming Man" as his riding music. Osato went on to finish second, but I have to say his music was far better than anyone else's. I guess this just goes to show that The Smiths are pretty damn hardcore for a band of "flower sissies".

I've been into bmx freestyle since 1980, and The Smiths since 1987. It's always gives me a rush to hear Moz in the scene. "The Operation" in STANDARD COUNTRY is in Brennan Brown's part. Most of the BMX videos out there are littered with pop punk, and most of the bands are wannabe's of bands that suck in the first place. I don't know if it's the video for "Stop Me If..." or what, but I've always connected bike riding with Smiths/Moz. One things for sure, on a bike, you can ride through archetecturally(sp?) rich areas and feel connected, and it can be a rewarding and romantic experience.
