Quote by Alan Sparhawk from Low:
"It would be interesting to back a solo artist--like Low being the band behind so-and-so, you know? We want to back up Morrissey. It would be really cool, but I think it would probably be really nerve-wracking."

  • Though it will never happen, I think that would make for an interesting combination (Moz and Low, that is). And since I don't think the band have written many good songs since Vauxhall, this hypothetical situation sounds almost like a fantasy. It's time for new blood.

Is everyone here completely attached to Alain and Boz or is there at least one other who would like to see a new lineup behind Moz?

  • I'd have to agree with the above stated comment.
Morrissey does need to dress himself in a new sound, complete with a new band. The arcane old wardrobe has amassed too much dust and is seriously damaging his status. Time's tide...

  • Now first, let me say that I have not heard Low's cover of the Smiths but if thats what got them booed off the stage in Manchester, then MAYBE they ought to rethink this whole idea.
